Was convinced to try the Sunday roast and must say I was very impressed. 375 baht for soup I has the pea and ham was great selection of roasts and veggies hot and fresh plus ice cream.

The servings were large and great selection of roast veggies. No I do not own the place nor have any interest in the place just had a great lunch.

Recommend the Sunday lunch.

That's my Soi 6 home away from home, but I don't think I've ever eaten there.

It's a good smoke free, BG free oasis with good air con, low music and right on Soi 6 and they have draft Strongbow as well. The food is good enough and the Thai food will be eaten by your TG even if it's not super. Prices are average.

I had dinner tonight at the Queen Vic. I ordered the ham and pea soup and the fish and chips. The soup was mediocre. Not much taste even with salt and pepper added. The fish and chips was excellent. Two large pieces of fish.

I've been with friends for eat, nothing special but I enjoyed Guinnes sold at 100Thb for half pint, 50Thb less than Irish pub at central festival

Do you mean Brannigans or Bennigans, something similar to that?

It has to be the most expensive, tourist oriented rip-off imitation pub in the city.

That title belongs to The Tavern in Amari IMHO

Wow, it is hard to imagine more than that one I was thinking of. TTK and I went in, saw the prices and left on principle. I think a Strongbow, or Magners in a can, not draft was 350 Baht vs. 170 at Queen Vic.

I stopped by the Queen Vic today for the carvery. This time the pea and ham soup was very good. I also tried the beef soup. This was excellent. Prawn salad was fresh. The rest of it was good pub grub. Nothing fancy just good food. Cost was 370 Baht for all you can eat. Good value for the Baht.

The carvery at Queen Vic is good food but it is expensive compared to other places.

Robin's Nest on Soi Diana does a very good carvery for a reasonable price. No problem going back for second helpings if you're a greedy fucker.

A group of us took a break from a Soi 6 crawl last March, and we all sat down and ordered off the menu not knowing the Sunday roast was on. I didn't notice until I had already ordered and smelled something great from 10ft away and have been thinking about that roast this whole past year. I am coming back in April to have some of that Sunday Roast. One of my few must do's for the trip.
