It would seem that you can book Hua Hin at the moment - although I didn't complete the payment stage ...

 

I must admit, I thought it (the website) might be some uni students doing a project, or something ...

Sounds interesting. Would be nice if the Hua Hin - BKK route opens. Didn't another airline try this route before and stop it because non profitable as no customers?

 

Air fare not much more than a taxi.

They do turn up on a Google search (somewhere Joe is smiling) in a few places including farang boards based in Korat and Buriram. Unfortunately, no one admits to actually flying with them. One of aircraft they fly is a twin engine Piper--some suggest they have only one of them which would be a concern. Supposedly, they also fly Airbus 320s on international routes.

It could be a start-up airline - by the look of their website they are only just starting to recruit. If you have a look on http://www.planespotters.net/Production_List/Country/Thailand it doesn't even show any airline of that name existing..

add to it the taxi to and from airports and the waiting around,

Not much more if you're travelling alone. Taxi would be cheaper for more than one.
