Hotel or Guest House In Patong

Recommended Posts

Hi there Mark. I dont have any actual recommendations but last time I was there there was all sorts of bargains for accommodation in the Bangla Road area and I would certainly recommend that you stay there. One suggestion I do have is to book in for say 1 night at the Baan Sukhothai. This is on Bangla and is a great spot but charges (or did) joiner fees. The site is www.phuket-baansukhothai.com and I think is the best situated place in Patong.

Look on Soi Sansabai or perhaps up by Nanai Road. I've stayed at a bunch of guest houses in Patong: Ferb Guesthouse; Andaman Sea Guesthouse; etc. They're all pretty much the same. Just walk around and pick one.

OK, depending on what you mean by "near" Bangla Road, try the Ferb Guest House or the Little Buddah, or the Lovlei? Guesthouse. They're all on the same street. No pool, though.

Sure, you can get to Bangla Road. Just walk down to the street behind the Jungceylong Mall. The Street itself can be busy and hard to cross at times. Anyway, you can cut through the mall or, you can walk a block or two down to Soi Sansabai and walk down that - it'll lead you the top of Bangla Road. As I recall, there are also a few hotels and guesthouses right on Soi Sansabai. The Summer Breeze Hotel or the Yorkshire hotel, plus a few cheap guesthouses.
