Anyone got personal expierence (stayed at or had a look at bedrooms) of the Grand Hotel Soi 14 just a few steps Walking St.

On the web site it looks ok but I have a suspicion that it maybe old and run down or maybe gay.

It`s close enough to the action.

Fonz,

Even if a hotel is gay owned or alot of gays go there. It doesn't mean the inside of your room is gay. ;D

Thanks lads but not at all rearly concerned about gays for the lord knows have met a lot of and consider that the world is a big enough place with room for evereone. What I can`t under stand that there is a hotel a few paces off W/St and it seems no one has stayed there at the starting price of 700B

GB Hilly does peruse the board so that if either he or the georgous am does know of the Grand he would post a response

Fonz,

I stopped in there last spring and they quoted me a price of 600.  I wasn't interested once they told me they didn't have a pool.  A much nicer hotel at 700 a night and also without a pool is the Marine Yensabai Mansion.

Thanks Emil although the web site shows a roof pool to me it is ofno concern niether was the cost. My prime concern was is the hotel and especialy the b/rooms up to a good standard.

Did perchance see said b/rooms and compare with M.Y.S.

Thanks to all for responding. [smiley=1luvu.gif]

Fonz,

I didn't ask to see a room once they told me that their pool was no longer open.  The Marine is an excellent hotel especially for it's price.  Opened this past January with large rooms and nice view and balcony.
