Anyone stayed at the Golf Club?

I am coming to Patts for a much needed vacation. I plan on playing some golf. The Golf Club looks like a great place to hang out and talk golf.

 

How are the accomodations? Any feedback would be much appreciated.

I was surprised to hear they have rooms (only 4).

 

If that doesn't work out for you try a new place 5 minutes walk away.

The rooms at the Golf club are fine - there are no frills but there was everything I needed - Large room, in room safe, wifi,TV with a range of channels,DVD player good aircon and a fan - which I like as sometimes you don't need aircon but just need to keep things a little bit cooler.

 

The best rooms are at the front with balcony - but you could find noise a problem if you are a light sleeper. The back rooms have very little natural light as the the rear building is close - but at least one of the back rooms has a mini kitchenette.

 

Big plus is Western Management, big minus only 4 rooms - but they do also have condo's for long term rent near Pattaya Bay Hotel.Alternatively the laundry next door also has similar rooms http://happydaze-pattaya.webs.com/ as do most of the bars on the soi.

My brother and his mate have stayed there a few times and love it. They organise the golf for you as well and the girls in the bar are very discreet if an ex barfine turns up. "Mr Scott go home"

'Was in an internet cafe a couple of weeks back sitting next to a guy wanting to find some info about thai shrimp farming. He was just about clueless about how to work a browser & search engine. I had to give him credit for coming in to try anyway, and helped him out. We all were learners ourselves at some point, and some just aren't "intuiters".
