What is the best deposit interest rate may receive in Pattaya ? Taxes etc ?

I just got 2.7% p.A. for a government Bond investment over 3 Month, tax Free. They also offer 2.8% for 6 Month. At Kasikorn Bank.

Best I found so far for terms of less than a Year if you factor in the tax (usually 15%)

Siam Commercial Bank currently offers 3.1% for 15 months deposit

I thought you were doing well in HUF currency!

I actually ended up,paying more that the 15% because I made more than 20k.... although you can claim it back I believe.

Yeah.... it was good for a looong time.... however our populist, dumb, nazi government fucked it.....

 

Interest rates went down from 7% to 4%, the 16% income tax, the 6% health tax, the 0.06% transaction tax ( for the whole sum ) was introduced in this year....so, time to look for something new.....
