Do you think Man U would be 14 points behind the Leaders at this stage of the season if Fergie was still Manager?

So we can assume your in depth analysis and solutions for my team are based on this riding statement then ?

What about Newcastle V Southampton?

Hi,

One of the 3 main games IMO. Spurs v Liverpool is the other cracker. The other games are mainly relegation battles. Pardew is motiviated to get one over Southampton who have had a bad run recently. I'd be tempted to have a small bet on Southampton on the Asian Handicap.

Told you so...

Hi,

We both thought City would win but I dont think Arsenal were thrashed as the BBC seems to be saying. Arsenal got 2 good goals disallowed at critical times. There was nothing made of it by the talking heads on MOTD but if the red shirts had been Uniteds the sport bulletins on Radio 5 would have led with something like " Man Utd denied 2 good goals by diabolic decisions by linesmen". In the first half the other linesman wrongly flagged for off side when Arsenal were attacking in dangerous situations. I watched the game in a pub where the sound was off so I dont know if the BT guys said anything about it. They usually dont when its Arsenal on the wrong end of bad offside/penalty decisions. Everton will give it a good go this season after another good performance. Mourinho seems out of sorts at Chelsea, he has dark rings under his eyes. I feel he is under pressure in some facet of his life and he is not getting the best out of several Chelsea players who were great last season like Mata and Luiz. Man City have great physical presence as well as great technique so they will be hard to beat now. Pellegrini has achieved his first task this year, getting City into the last 16 in the CL so can know focus on the Prem. They look the best team by far so Arsenal put up a good show yesterday.

Yeah the BT Commentators did say about the Arsenal goals that never were.

Man City put 6 in the net again but the scum weren't thrashed like Spurs were. Fairly even game imho but Nasri failed to convert a few good chances. Result could have been 9 V 3, 6 V 5 or similar. Overall Man City deserved to win and are still my Favorites to win the title.

I think if Man U lose today that's definitely the end of their Title winning hopes if they still have any!

Come on you Spurs.

Hi,

Fair assesment. Man Utd are likely to get a winnable tie in the CL. If they get into the last 8/4 of that it will paper over the cracks to some extent. Not having a bet on Spurs v Liverpool but with Spurs at home they must win especially with Stevie G and Sturrridge out for Liverpool.

If Defoe starts instead of Soldado we might have a chance of scoring a couple. We'll need to because you can be damn sure Suarez is going to score!

Gerard is out as are a few others, not sure Spurs have the character .... 6th place best for the Skid Barmy

Liverpool seem to be the team to challenge for the title along with Man city , both teams playing out of their skin at the moment.....!

Tottenham just can not stop letting goals in......!

Arsenal got a reality check this week....!

Chelsea look like they are climbing an ice hill without crampons......!

Man u finally plug the goal hole , to little to late for them....!

And what about everton , top 4 contenders.....!

Forget the rest.....!

AVB has to be on borrowed time now. To be honest I have never seen any exceptional talent from him at any of his clubs, apart from his multi-lingual abilities. Klinsman would be a great acquisition for Spurs; but that'll never happen, Klopp might tho', if the price and time are right. Then again Wenger's job may be the eventual EPL target for him.

And what spot do you think Arse will finish?

3rd of 4th is the best they can do, their squad is not a patch on City or Chelsea, how many of the Arsenal team would get in City or Chelsea ?

They have maximised what they have to date but no way can the get in the top 2....

Hi,

AVB has been sacked! Feel sorry for Steve Clarke, WBA got some bad decisions from the refs. Liverpool were in great form yesterday. Suarez is great to watch. From an England point of view I thought Welbeck and Henderson looked up to International class yesterday.

Hi,

I've been disappointed with his work at Spurs. Maybe back to Portugal, a richer and sadder person ?

With so much money in transfers and inflated prices for ordinary players , makes you wonder about skimming etc.
