Bulabag beach on the other side of the island, is meant to be mainly kite surfing, as this is the side of the island that the winds hit first. Its a very narrow beach, and on this day was full of seaweed and other debris that had washed ashore. It doesn't strike me a beach where you could happily sunbath all day long, bit there are a number of high end guesthouses and hotels and resorts on this beach.

I beleive that is a puffer fish.

They are poisonous.

They're reasonably popular in Japan as a delicacy but every year the fish gets its revenge on a few fisherman.

Thanks again for the pics!

Great set of pics as always Firth. I would also go with the fish being a Puffer, or there again it could be a Durian on steroids!

Hahaha yes, looking at it now, could well of bee a durian.

There were a number of these Puffer fish dead along the beach. Are these fish deadly to touch? I never realised that they were to be found in these waters.
