Last night, about 8:45, saw a baht bus full of our friends from east of Suez, men, children, and three ladies in black abayas (no vails). They seemed to be enjoying their evening on the town.

Probably not a point. I will be disappointed if I see the same folks wandering down Walking Street with the kids.
