I just got a good deal on a Biz Class flight BKK to UK coming in many tens of thousands of baht below the carrier I normally use.

No limo provided but I can pay for a taxi from the savings.

Take a look but be quick if you are thinking of a trip.

I booked some flights in in 6 weeks ago and I managed to get MAN-BKK return for £425 each, and been checking flights for the same dates since then and it hasn't come up with a price that beats what we paid., the lowest price being £430.

The promotion has ended - says the web site. I am also struggling with the last fiasco with the airline - they cancelled my ticket but took my money. All this with being their privileged customer and so on. I purchased 6 tickets from them in the last 2 years still they wanted debilitating proofs that I am me, despite the fact that I am both the guy who travels and owns the credit card. Fucking idiots!

Yes, it does say up there ends 13th!

I stopped using them when I had rather poor experiences at Manchester...... and I found Etihad better, plus they offered limo transportation.

At least my booking is not during Ramadan, another time I experienced very poor service on Qatar.

 

As I stated, the price was so far below Etihad and Emirates it was an offer I could not refuse, and it appears to be A380 to and from BKK.

The "biz" seats on the 787 dreamliner that runs from edinburgh are excellent too, almost first standard. Not sure what aircraft is used from Manchester.

It is a crappy A330 -300 or 200.

A ride on the 787 would have been very attractive.

Why you think B787 would be attractive in Economy ? Read the reviews from passengers who think the opposite !

Looks like Qatar are looking at changing the seat pitch /width for future deliveries.

Friend recently went Manchester-Doha A330-200 which was fine then went Doha-Depenser(Bali) B787 on 10 hour flight and it

took him a week to recover !

If you would care to read my posts, you may notice I did not book in economy.

But I appreciate the feedback, that the hop from Doha to Bali in economy isn't fun.

 

I haven't flown on a Dreamliner yet, just the novelty factor attracts me.

My mistake - Note crappy Qatar A330 fleet is presently being refurbished with new seats /AVOD in J and Y classes. Refurb should be completed by end of this year.

Well that is good news too.

It was always a slight let down to see what we got from Doha to Manchester after the 777 service from Bangkok.

This time I go from A380 to A330.
