I have searched lots of theards here. I seem to recall 1 post that

mentioned a 11:40 am flight departing bkk. it mention bad traffic from patts to bkk

which is always. i am thinking it would take 0:700 from patts to make it.

with all the road choas is it worse. will be leaving from naukla around soi 14.

Last Tuesday, I flew out on the 10:55 to Istambul.

 

A taxi from Walking Street at 6am got me to Suvarnabhumi at 7:45, just before the check-in desks opened.

 

So a 7am departure might work, but if you get snarled up in rush hour traffic, you would have a problem.

I always add an hour to that, better to be bored to tears at the airport than chewing fingernails in a taxi as your check-in time approaches.

I think you will have plenty of time.

You will have no issues getting out of Pattaya so early and leaving from Naklua are already North of the tunnel works.

Motorway traffic may get a bit heavy due to rush hour but for me that is worst in an evening after some holidays with people returning to the City. It is over a month since I saw it but there was some resurfacing work near Laem Chabang that was causing tailbacks for both directions, and Northward looked particularly bad.
