Android Apps

Which Android Apps have you found to be the most useful?

 

 

My favorates are:

 

Translate (spent many hours using that with a none english speaking Thai girl)

MX Player (will play any movie that I have tried)

GPS Test (It has a night screen mode which is great for watching your flight to BKK leaving your seat tv for movies) I don't think my last flight every made it above 28k feet due to the load.

I guess that if you want to keep an eye on what is happening while your in Pattaya then Tapatalk springs to mind and it is now free. I dont want or need it when I am not in Pattaya and being free I can dump and install as needed.

 

I do like having Hotel California as my ring tone so Zedge is a great site for all sorts.

 

I did install a voice recorder so that I could make notes on bars and gogo's but as I get pissed I forget to use it but it is Smart Voice Recorder.

I use a few, like Ping, Barclays app, Skype, BBC iPlayer, Here, Whatsup, Facebook messenger and Avast on my Samsung phone

All the new media/social media stuff: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Foursquare/Swarm, Foodspotting, Vine.

 

Airlines and hotels (travel for work a lot). - I like United Airlines android app and the Hilton app a lot. Seat guru helps me choose the right airline seat. Also, travel related, Yelp and Trip Advisor.

 

Scout (GPS), Pandora, Skype.. And I use sound hound a lot because I can never remember names of songs so I end up signing it into my phone.

 

Starbucks app gives me a free drink every 15.
