Dont say i never do anything for you guys, but i've just come across a promotional code for Etihad that equates to about 20% off your fare. The only (small) thing is that you have to fly out on a Wednesday.

 

I've just done a dummy booking from LHR, and it gave me a discount of £78 on their cheapest priced fare. Discount seems to work on their other economy fare's as well as on Business class too.

 

No idea how much longer this promo code is valid for, but use it whilst you can!!

I put some dates in around when I will be going and it came up as £370, I will probably still go Eva but that price is brill, the tax must be half of the fare.

It even worked ex Bangkok in Biz Class, knocking the initial fare of 116,130 baht down to 94255 baht

I think most of that came off the outward leg.

I picked dates in Sept which did not have any Biz Saver fares available,

I just picked dates in October when there were Biz Saver fares available, result, the code knocked the fare down from 85510 baht to 71290 baht.(picked Wednesdays both legs)

Wow, it certainly seems to work!

I posted the same thread over on Secrets too, and someone added a code on there for travel on a Tuesday, that code works as well.

 

Should just say though, that the travel dates only seem to be valid up until end of October, beginning of November. Tried it for December, cam up code not valid!!

Doesn't work for me from Edinburgh ~ BKK test in September Biz class . No real problem for me though as I have no intention of travelling that route then; Just checking to advise a friend.

Didn't give it a go yet but it does state Manchester 31,305/ 87,860 baht Economy/Biz in the advert for Manchester.

I am hoping not to have to go back to UK this year but a forced trip in October looks possible.

Interesting! I've fed it through both directions biz class via Manchester. It is some ￡300 cheaper from BKK than from MAN; and comes out at 85,300 Baht flying on Wednesdays. Normally the flights are cheaper from UK, so it would appear to be a good deal for the likes of yourself.
