Just a few shots of cruising down the Chao Phraya river in Bangkok at the end of September. And yes, it was raining on and off all day long.

It's less than $1 for the whole run from Nonthaburi (you can see the Bangkok Hilton there) to Sathom. The Blue tourist boats are 40 Baht but don't go that far north (and you can go even farther north than Nonthaburi on the regular boats) . I think we paid 15 or 20 Baht.

 

I did a tour by van to Ayutthaya and coming back to Bangkok at 5 p.m. was going to be brutal on the roads so we stopped in Nonthaburi and took the boat down the river , better view and much faster. Then the BTS back to Sukhumvit for whatever that cost which is not much.
