Thai Visa has a member with the handle Mentally Disturbed. I made a post saying that I realize that you are mentally disturbed................ Bang, I got what they call a "vacation". I was told that I would have to acknowledge my violation before being allowed back in.

 

I hope they were not holding their breath because that will never happen. AND, yes, that mod is a homosexual just like the rest of the Thai Visa ruling clan.

Yes, I got banned too Gary. I believe a left wing mod didn't like my comments in response to a Trump hater.

Trump hating comments, acceptable, pointing out reality is apparently trolling.

 

I will not acknowledge the violation either. in fact I blocked it using Adblock. As I couldn't post I just stopped visiting the site and flagged their emails as Spam. At least I won't have to read any more of Dan's crappy original posts.

I think they do that to keep up huge membership numbers to promote the advertising. I would guess that many members wanted to quit when they were no longer able to use an adblocker.

Well, in Europe they have just introduced GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) which has given a person the right to withdraw consent to that personal data from organisations holding that data. Does the US have any similar data protection regulations?

 

You could claim to be a EU citizen/resident and tell them that under GDPR you withdraw your consent for them to hold your personal data and they must close your membership and delete your personal data.....

I have quite a list of people on ignore on Thai Visa, one of them is a Mod.

But a lot of people there seem to be looking for an argument.... and a lot of Pattaya negativity.

Can be a fair source of information , some of the Visa information is very good.

 

Far too much advertising, makes the site slow and jumpy for me.

Some good info there but lots of negativity and downright bitter meanness about Thailand. Not as bad as Teakdoor however--gave up on them a few years ago--what a bunch of whiners they were then.
