LOOKING FOR PRIVATE POOL VILLA

15 years since our last visit to LOS and it's time for another. We are looking for a 1 or 2 bedroom private villa with pool, I've checked all the usual avenues, Booking, Agoda etc but the prices are way out of our league. Location is not important but privacy is, up to around £600 for 10 days next November. Are there any websites that would help? Thank you for your help.

You’re a bit early for booking somewhere a year in advance not to mention your budget even in pandemic times maybe a bit on the low side. Good luck

Obviously Villas usually look for longer term rentals, but you may find some owners are sub-letting on a shorter term basis on sites like AirBnB.... then there are those owned and rented out by businesses, Secrets used to have one.

Does the pool need to be private enough to skinny dip?    Also, what is the minimum size pool is needed?

Thank you for your reply, yes private enough for skinny dipping but size of pool is not really important.

If this doesn't work out we will probably go for either Woodlands or Dasiri Beach Apartments...any thoughts.

Found a really nice looking place on Pratumnak Hill, 2 Bedrooms and good reviews, however one customer complained that the Utility Bill was excessive at 4000b for 6 days, we are in the dark as to this being expensive or not?, the guy probably ran the A/C for the full 6 days, we'll never know!

2 bedrooms is not really that big a place. Around 700 baht a day seems way over the top; think about it, it equates to around 20k baht per month. That's the sort of bill a barowner might get.
