Warning about fake TDAC websites from Thai police

just fyi to everyone now it is May 2025 and the TDAC arrival system is now in effect for travelers from certain nationalities...

the Thai police released a warning this evening about fake TDAC websites that try to collect personal information from travelers (phishing scams)

some of the fake website include tdac.info and tdac.in.th

but there are probably more going to be launched in the future, stay careful

I went to Malaysia oblivious to their requirements until stood in a queue at immigration when realising I needed to fill it in online unbeknownst to me it wasn’t fake but you had to pay which I unwittingly did and all done.

Later I realised I’d been had and you can do it for free on the qovt website.

Be warned the same scam will be going on here. Lesson learned.

Tim Newton did a YouTube on this today. He says the same ,many scams and relayed it is easy to do yourself 5 minutes

And in the Netherlands when you Google tourist visa for Thailand, agencies and dodgy sites including "Thai visa " are the first to show .
