Dynasty Inn

Right next to NEP Great staff good rooms

Some people say they are a bit dark but personally I like them very clean

Ask for room in the back building newer and better

990 baht per night

After many years of staying at the Nana I would recommend it very much

Very girl friendly take as many as you like no problems

Stayed at the Swiss Park 3 years ago and it was not girl friendly at all. I think it was something like 500 baht joiner fee plus the place really is a dump. I would stick with the Majestic or the Dynasty. Up Soi Nana, across from the Grace Hotel and next to the Zenith is a small hotel called the Nana Inn. Nothing to special but clean rooms and for sure girl friendly and not too expensive. I think I paid less then 800 baht but that might have been a special deal. Good luck.

Try www.nanataimansion.com at the end of Soi4 near Tobacco monopoly. Quiet but only a short walk from nana plaza. I like for 800 bt a night. Staying there Monday.

sinbinjack,

See the members offer (pay 3 plus one free) at Bangkok Tonight for the Swiss Grottino on Suk, Soi 19. Brand new and good furnishings and facilities. Ideal for Soi Cowboy and and Asoke skytrain (one stop to Nana) as well as Robinson's Sukhumvit.

It looks a seriously good value for money place and all the reviews have been very positive.

Grottino Residence

For first time newbie in BKK looking for 1000-2000 B a night accommodation, I recommend Grand President at suk soi 11.

Excellent location. No problem with overnight guest. Large bed. Room size and facility is decent.

This place is not the best bargain in town, but a newbie should feel comfortable staying there.

I think I would reccoment Majestic over Dynasty although neither are my favorite. Grand President is ok. I like the Manhattan but I am not sure if they are still doing construction next door. If the noise is no longer a problem Manhattan would probably get my vote.

I just stayed at the president solitaire and thought it was great. You can get a nice room with a 42 inch plasma tv, DVD player, and free in room internet for about just over 2,000 baht.

I like majestic suites (1350baht)very nice rooms, nice bed, quite, good a/c right on sukumvit and nana. But the rooms are small. Has room safe. Nana Hotel (800baht)has got good beds but the hotel and rooms look a little worn for the wear. but Nana Hotel has got a great breakfast and the parade of BG 1luv at breakfast is fun to watch. no walk of shame at Nana. More like a BG runway. Amazing to see the beautys some of the geezers w walkers and on respirators have with them.

If you want to try priceline I have gotten both the Sheraton Grande sukumvit and Westin Grande sukumvit for $55 and $65 but you pay tax on top of that.

The Grottino Residence has gotten raves on BKK tonight and I plan on staying ther in July to check it out. I have overdone nana and want to work out soi cowboy for a couple of days.

For 1300-1500 baht i'd say majestic or try Grottino. :eyecrazy :P
