  1. I think the negative for the place might be that it accommodates groups from China and India, also they allow residents to bring small dogs, which I believe are kept to a particular floor. (That applies normally to weekend visitors from within Thailand). I like the location, although I wonder about noise from the condo construction at the back. That same condo construction has enclosed the pool area somewhat, so pool view rooms are pool and condo wall.
  2. The OP mentioned Art street has been knocked down and the cut through from beach road to 2nd road is blocked. Is that what you mean?
  3. Troy
  4. I did notice if I watched the file in Kodi, sometimes it is able to download more subtitles to try. Had a bit of aggravation sometimes getting subtitles synced though. For me it seems to be live and forget!
  5. If it is the one I took on my bike on Friday, the latter part was an assault course... there had been recent rains.
  6. Good question, this is where the Expats Club meet so I am there for breakfast once a week. The place has been renovated recently in the lobby and coffee shop area and most definitely the pool area seems to have increased the kids aspect. I have seen a few 'guests' leaving as I arrive in the morning though! It is on Soi 15, and no way to exit at the rear of the hotel, so you would have to turn right and walk to soi Buakhao about 200m. Second Rd is easier as you can cut through The Avenue, Google Maps
  7. Well her comments suggested she has seen it so I didn't ask her I am pretty sure she would be able to understand it in Italian, as I understand the dialogue in Rob Roy! Must admit I spent a little time in Milan and what I hear in Gomorrah does not sound familiar. When I downloaded yesterday Chrome seemed to bring all 4 episodes in a single zipped up file... will I be able to get any future episodes singly?
  8. Thanks.. Coincidentally I was chatting with my Italian neighbour and mentioned that I was watching this series We had a good chat and she said Napoli really is like that! Spurned an interesting conversation that also included the return of Berloscni.
  9. I like this cooler weather, my little Yamaha seems zippier.

  10. Rob Roy.
  11. Has the rain gone south now, cooler nights, clear sunny days now!

  12. Midnight Express.
  13. Yeah, I will have them. Separate files per episode?
  14. There is also a stuffed omelette common here which includes minced pork, and another that is folded over a sweet and sour filling. But none sound like the haute cuisine Atlas2 comes up with, that and doing strange things into a refrigerator, he is living the dream!
  15. Open topped ones in Tesco.
  16. Three years was a pleasant surprise, but they haven't done messing with you yet! On a Friday afternoon, when weekend traffic is upon us, Tai is queuing from Sukhumvit to 2nd, and I want to get to Klang, no problems, get onto Sukhumvit and straight down and left. But no, they close the whole sliproad and main turn road into Klang! What are people supposed to do who have got off the motorway and want to get into Pattaya?
  17. I was glad to discover Kloster. If I recall it was advertised with a big picture of Rod Stewart. Far more tolerable morning after than that of Singha, which yes, as nkped states had a chemical taste of formaldehyde. Drank Kloster for a while until Carlsberg appeared on the local market.
  18. They can't get pregnant, don't you know that?
  19. I do.. but can still remember drinking Singha. Early days here there wasn't much choice. (It was pretty horrid back then)
  20. National Lampoon's Vacation
  21. Yea, comes back on me too!
  22. American History X
  23. If these guys have been allocated seats near the front of the cabin that might make sense, but I thought they were at the back! Wrong in so many ways. No overhead space left and being looked down upon by other passengers is not my idea of fun. Makes more sense to seat by row numbers but most seem to ignore that!
  24. And it did.....
  25. I don't see the 'Loss of Service' message, just hang-up. I may see it if I hit Stop/Reload. I also never use my phone to access Pattaya Talk. But I could switch off my Wi-Fi network/router and try using my computer and Hot-Spot through my phone. hence using the phone network. So good suggestion, which I bet will work fine. I have posted that I don't have a problem when I use a VPN to outside Thailand. Also confused that the issue only manifests itself on Pattaya Talk, but not Thai Visa. You also are on the True network I believe so not specific to them, So my router or something between me and town only on a particular site, True Service would love that problem!
