Yes we get these things.... but every now and again there is a press report making a fuss over an honest taxi driver returning a wallet and passport left in his cab by a tourist. There are quite a few 'Free' ie unsecured Wireless networks to be had too. I was sat infront of a place and chatting to a girl using a notebook and she told me she had just logged onto free connection via Wireless. I did a quick speedcheck on it and it was 10/1 Mb.

It isn't much more to use the Rung Ruen bus station on North Rd. Buses to Ekamai (Sukhumvit) or Moe Chit. They are full sized coaches and backpacks can go underneath.

Yeah I had a crown done there. Not cheap! But a modern clinic with good facilities. Dentist was a pleasant young woman and they had a Philipina receptionist that could speak good English.
