NEW COMPANY HUA HIN SEA DISCOVERY

Is the hovercraft back? -
Do you understand what 'an example' implies ??? I most certainly have seen such confusion in other threads,

It was in June 2012 that I requested it's unlocking....and I don't think it was 5 years old. O2 are still offering 'Free' expensive phones with a contract, like an IPhone5 for £32/month. This is from their website... For Pay Monthly and Pay & Go Customers If you're a Pay Monthly customer then you can request for your handset to be unlocked at any time, free of charge. This policy may vary according to the handset you have purchased. Don't forget that you'll still need to honour the remainder of the minimum term of your contract even if you place a non-O2 SIM into your phone. To request for your phone to be unlocked, click here and complete the requested information. If you're a Pay & Go customer, your O2 mobile can be unlocked 12 months after purchase for a one-off £15 fee which we'll deduct from your airtime balance. This policy may vary according to the handset you have purchased.

I used to wear these Redwing trainer types as site requirements stated steel toe caps .... Although I was mostly in the control rooms and out-and-about less frequently. Always getting into arguments with those safety morons though!

Just can't handle it, my bedroom has double glazing and seems to get warm when we are in it, so the AC runs all night. Too much early morning noise from the damned Wat to leave windows open. Got a few guests at the moment and bet the place is lit up like Blackpool in September.

I have a retirement extension, and when I renew it each year, I immediately put a multiple exit/re-entry permit in there too. I obtain the extension in Thailand. If you are over 50...get a Non-Imm O visa in your home country.. Get a multiple if you can... that will allow you over a years stay, but oblige you to exit the country every 90 days. Apply for a retirement extension in Thailand...Put some money in the bank when you get here and look for a place to stay If you only get a single entry, you have 90 days to sort things out. A retirement visa obtained in the USA (Non-Imm O-A visa) is an alternative, but more effort to obtain, requiring a police report. These are good in that if you exit Thailand within it's validity, and you get another 1 years permission on return. (presuming visa still has not expired then too).

I think it is important to get the names and terms correct, otherwise confusion arises. An example being the '30 day stamp' one gets on arrival, which many incorrectly term as a 'tourist visa'. If someone is giving advice and using the wrong terminology, I would say be wary of that advice.

By whom? My Thailand bank lets me withdraw it..... and I take it in cash. They certainly don't track every single $500 dollar withdrawal from every worldwide card wherever it is... and if I deposit $500 into my UK account, so what? You guys take big-brother to excess.! The government couldn't track it's own ass.

I had an O2 phone which definitely required unlocking...they sent me a code eventually to do it and charged £15.

Bloody electric is going up again.... and can I get the dopey woman to turn off the light after she has done!

I shall go out and give some scrounger sitting on the pavement in town with a soppy dog a plastic bag filled with warm vegetable soup immediately! Watch this space!

My first class flight BKK to Dubai was full but on to Manchester was just me and 1 other passenger. I must agree that when I looked for Premium seats to near Thailand countries I came across a lot of fully booked stuff too.

And what would be the limit if I simply popped my Thai ATM card into an ATM machine here in the UK? Multiple times.... over several days.

From what I personally experience, and what I learn talking to friends.... 800k in the bank and a letter from the bank will get it! A letter from the embassy confirming the 65k baht per month pension will get it. You can combine proportions of the above if your pension alone does not suffice. I do not hear of immigration in Jomtiem making up their own requirements..... although they always seem to want a copy of something else. One just has to patiently comply.....but overall I find the process quite easy... I just wish it was less frequent. I think MM gave an approximate price for the multiple re-entry permit which is obtained in Thailand.

Saw a baht bus driver get away with the no change trick recently, took the note and was off like a drag racer!

Triangle Bar Business Thread

What do you mean specifically by 'Book Snakes'??? -
Out of which country........?

You should not have any issues in the slightest. Perhaps you will be stopped at a GGB door as they have to keep the jealous Thai boyfriends out but I think you will be quickly recognised ar a USA guy and hence welcomed. There can be added fun, my Oz pal of Malaysian origin thought it was great fun to go and stand near to the hookers on beach rd and disturb them as they thought he was a Thai cop.

I am sure they are not!

day visa runs Pattaya to whereever?
jacko replied to fttrading09's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
There is no such limitation on airport entries.... but any immigration official has the right to question you or refuse entry. -
I thought it looked poorly...same as the tacos, difficult messy things to eat. I had 2 of these with chips and mushy peas last night.....
