Excellent, well recommended. Too far South for me....I use places North of Naklua, two of which are on the beach. Hat Samlan and Tankay, accessed by turning left off Sukhumvit (heading North) before Rt 36. Although my recent experiences have been poor, at weekend they get hit with a few large parties of Bangkok or locals and the service turns to shite.

Very busy, particularly at weekends now.Why not one of the Walking St places.... Tankay Seafood, Sea Zone, Lobster Pot. the place where they claim 'They are still Swimming'...Nang Nual etc. I think they are not so good and overpriced but on the decking over the sea there is a good atmosphere. I quite liked 'Shell Tankay' in Naklua.

Nope, I was through there recently and both immigration and customs were no issue, all pretty efficient. The airport is pretty big though, and you have to catch a train to the flight!
