I have stayed at Sabai Resort 4 times,not the cheapest hotel in pattaya,but i think one of the best,for me anyway. I'ts location on second road (next to big C) on the baht bus route. It has 3 swimming pools in 16 acres of tropical grouds, no noise at all,just the odd birds singing, anyone wanting the quiet life it is pefect,plenty of spare sun beds round all pools as well. Reminds me of a western lady on beach road trying to cross,pointing at the pelican crossing,her face purple with rage The traffic took no notice whot so ever.

My mate has stayed there,very girl friendly,has a small pool but it is in the shade.The room he was in was nice,with a balcony.It has a restaurant downstairs with good food.

I caught Dengue fever in Thailand june 2009. I spent all my time in pattaya,apart from a few days in koh samet. (where i think i caught it.) was'nt really well enough to come home,but decided to make the trip anyway. I fell ill on the plane home & had to have oxygen, i was seen in the middle east by a doctor (on the stopover)and he said i was ok to complete my journey. I was in hospital in the UK for five days in which time i had many blood tests. The doctors told me i caught Dengue fever Believe me this is not something you want to catch,and it will take you a while to get over it. Very good info from big D all correct. Now i put jungle formula mosquitoes repellent with 50% deet on in the daytime. Take care. Steve

Bad news, in march 2007 i was getting charged £150.00 per 10,000 withdrawal on my nationwide flex a/c with nothing extra to pay.In march this year it was up to £211.00 with 150 baht charge on top.So now with the conversion fee now at 2% plus a fee of £1.00 per transation nationwide is no longer a cheap option.Seems like i might have to go back to travelers cheques route though it seems like a step back in time,but whot can you do.

I booked on travelsupermarket.com got a flight with Qatar £561.00 (booked 11th june) looked today could get one with Etihad £457.00 same flight dates 31st oct -25th nov with good stopover times. You live & learn

Decided to stay at the Sabai resort again, hard beds as well Most comfy bed i have had in pattaya is at the baywalk on beach road Someone should a business in pattaya selling soft beds

Why not give the queen vic a try,nice rooms with balconys overlooking soi 6 Right in the middle of it there mate.

I must admit they have some good food at "Chanpen bar"after my trip round soi Buakhouw market.I decided on the full english,which enclude's tea/coffee ,+orange juice,nice bacon and cumberland sausage ect for a very competitive price in fact the whole menu looked good value for money,some good grub there. Enjoyed a great night there after the soi Diana crawl in march (whot i can remember of it ). Steve

Good idear Pete,there may be one or two who abuse your promotion,but generally if you treat your customers well they will come back for return visits.I was in business nearly 40 years and did lots of promotions it cost me plenty. But the good will it gains lasts a long time.I wish you good luck in your venture & see you in march.
