I was in Samitev in Bangkok (closest to Suk 33). Emergency room, private room, IV meds for 2 nights: $1200 Great care. I was very impressed. I put it on my CC. Was reimbursed for all but $100 copay when I got back. Samitev would not deal with my insurance. But who can't put 1200 bucks on their card? If there were different levels of cost, I did not know of it and even if there were, the price was far better than with insurance in America.

It does not bother me that others come there. They are there for their own reasons and I for mine. When I cannot go there any more because my own desires cannot be met, I will go elsewhere. I met an American family by the pool at my hotel. Asian father, white mom, about a 17 year old foxy daughter and 15 year old son. The dad and i struck up a conversation and it was obvious Pattaya was not what the parents were expecting. I educated him on some of the real touristy things to do in Pattaya and Bangkok. The point is, many people end up in Pattaya and their reasons are their own. We see the kooky loo tourists on Walking Street all the time. Just wandering through and rarely if ever participating. It brings income to Pattaya. Income to the city brings the Thai ladies. We often denigrate the malls and other affectations of modernization but this is a big deal to the Thais. Yes over time it changes things and raises prices but it is better to drift that way than drift into obscurity, imho.

When I was separated and divorced it put a, whammy on me like nothing ever has. My ex (now) and I had not been intimate for some time (her call) and after the separation I went to the doctor for a checkup. The issue of sex came up, and he recommended I take vitamin V and gave me a prescription for Viagra, should I find myself needing it. I did not in 2007/2008 but in 2013, and approaching 63, I might take some with me next trip or just get some Kamagra Gel there ,if i can't hold up day after day after day, lol.
