Is this on Third and near Lenghee? -
Chow Mein is American Chinese but tastes good. I doubt most foods remain exactly as made in original cultures. Is American Japanese, Italian, German, etc the same as going to those countries? What matters is if it tastes good.

There are many foods, like peanuts, that can cause what you describe. Shellfish can be an issue too. An allergist can test you. "In the U.S., eight foods account for the majority of food allergy reactions. Those foods are peanuts, tree nuts, milk, egg, soy, wheat, fish, and shellfish. Virtually any food may cause anaphylaxis. People who have both asthma and a food allergy are at greater risk for anaphylaxis." https://www.foodallergy.org/anaphylaxis

MSG doesn't do anything for me. Good or bad. I have a brother-in-law who has avoided it for 30 or more years. Despite the fact that there is no research to support the negative effects, there are many who swear differently, as you do. There are far too many chemicals in our food from field to table.

The Areca is not far away and on my first or second day I will be a customer. (More likely day two as no doubt other human needs will dominate my first day).

I agree. I think a lot of Trump's bellicosity was aimed at China. As much as people want to characterize him as a bombastic fool, I do believe there is a method to his madness. He complained to the late Tim Russert of Meet the Press about how bad the Clinton NK deal was at the time. When Trump dropped the MOAB to Afghanistan and bombed the Syrian air force base after the chemical attack, he sent a message.

That was not being ignored it was being avoided. I tried them once. It was ok, not great but OK. I would have tried them again but now I am glad they aren't around the area I am staying.

If he launches even duds around Guam, will Trump react? Seoul is close to batteries of artillery that could kill a lot of people. What is known is that NK has around 10 nukes but no delivery system (except a boat). Apparently, intelligence thinks he has miniaturized a weapon. That is indeed a long way from a pinpoint strike capability. This whole situation is not about that. Clinton got a treaty with NK, gave them 4 billion dollars but let them keep their fuel rods. (This is what underlies the opposition to the Obama/Iran deal). Bush called Iraq, Iran and North Korea "the Axis of Evil". Bush went after the weakest of the three. Kicked the nuclear can down the road. Obama made it look like he was doing something but really only postponed the issue further kicking all cans down the road. Trump, I don't think, is willing to kick any more cans down the road. If by mid August, North Korea even launches duds at Guam, Trump will act. How will NK respond? My biggest concern with NK has been floating a nuke into one of our harbors. Seattle, SF/Oakland, Long Beach (LA) are all within range of that.

I go to Pats and drink Beer Chang and no problem I drink Heineken and get a headache. It must be from MSG in the hops.
