  1. We had a good inch plus of late spring rain but the sun has been out for a couple of days and today is just about perfect for this ex-Californian. It is low to mid 80s today and a might warm I imagine for long time residents of the Pacific Northwest. It is supposed to get up to 97 Sunday...a nice summer morning in Fresno, my previous residential stop. So, it got me out and about and I feel like sharing the euphoria.
  2. I still get robocalls for a vehicle I haven't owned in years. I block each number they call with but they must have thousands of lines.
  3. From Stand Up Melancholy but a beautiful melody
  4. I need to test drive both before making a decision.
  5. Thanks for that. I looked at mine again and it does have a CDC logo on it. I doubt we can get much more official.
  6. Thanks for that. We can't make concrete plans on hope but hope is an improvement. That is something to keep an eye out for. I am not sure how they could do that in such a short period of time. In my state and I assume all states in the USA, we get a thin cardboard/heavy paper card that shows what vaccine we were given and on which date(s). I doubt it is official enough for international travel as I think it would be too easy to fake.
  7. Newton couldn't think that far ahead! He just had an apple fall on his head!
  8. I understand you. The sensible thing is to stay aware of the Covid situation in Asia. Nothing can change until that drastically improves. There is no light at the end of the tunnel there. There seems to be here in the states but we have been wrong before.
  9. Love it. Scotty gets a Newtonian physics lesson.
  10. jacko, thanks. Can you recommend the best place for updated information - I understand updates may be slow in coming? Perhaps an official Thai government source? I doubt this year is possible for travel. I can't afford a two week quarantine and would be board to tears unless I could quarantine in a house of ill repute. I would like to keep up to date regularly. Rumors are worthless to me. I remain hopeful for a trip next year...God forbid at Songkran...but if that's the soonest....
  11. Do we have a topic that is dedicated for travel to Thailand during the pandemic? I have a few questions and it would be nice if we could occasionally get updated information. Is a two week quarantine in effect? Does entry to Thailand require proof of vaccination? I read somewhere that proof of ability to pay for hospital/medical is required. How does that work? Is the Thai government loosening up? With Japan's and India's problems I imagine not.
  12. Good job! I have built my own computers but the software side can be bitch. All things considered, besides some minor withdrawal symptoms for us, this was easier than a teeth cleaning on sensitive teeth. Thanks for your efforts as always.
  13. I am down on the Columbia river and winters here are similar in the sense that it is day after day after day of light rain...very few deluges. I expected heavier rain before I moved up here. The heaviest rains I have experienced here in two plus years are summer thunderstorms. There were even a couple of small tornados my first summer. Beats arid California.
  14. The next time you post about your love of your boat and red wine, I expect to see a ruler in the bj photos!
  15. I have plenty of lube but lack an applicator.
