  1. Definitely not Chiang Rai. No idea if it's Sattahip or not.
  2. Thanks for the laugh!
  3. Only a basic menu, but everything on it is good. Can't beat the location either.
  4. No pool. Forgot to mention that as its not on my list of "must have"s.
  5. Just saw this thread. I stayed at BaBooNa last week and absolutely loved it. It is serviced apartments but I'm frigged if I can tell what the difference is between that and a hotel since they seemed to have all the same facilities. I had a different companion back every night I was there and nobody seemed to care. The shower is brilliant, with the shower rose being more than a foot across and plenty of room for 2 to play up. My room had a lovely balcony, there was free wifi in the room and the staff, especially the cleaning staff, were extremely friendly and helpful. My only gripes, and they're small ones, was that there was no room service after 11 pm, and it was a bit awkward to get back to some times since the baht buses always seemed to want to go to Naklua or turn right at the Dolphins, rather than go round the circuit. Best bet was to get off at the top of Soi 3 and walk down, but that's a long and dark soi at 4 in the morning when your balance has been impaired by something you must have drunk earlier in the night. I plan to have my own transport next time I'm in Patts and I'll be staying at BaBooNa again if i can get in. Highly recommended.
  6. Only stayed there once - never been able to get in again because I can only book at short notice and they're always full. Did enjoy it though.
  7. I always enjoy my time in there but rarely leave with any of the girls, or even look at the stage sometimes. I go there because I enjoy Paul's company. I first met him at Lennie's and followed him to his new place of work (and just by the way, look at the huge crowds mobbing his old place of work since he left ... not). The only annoying thing is that Paul seems to be bobbing up every 2 or 3 minutes to sort out some problem he has spotted which can make conversation difficult. I'd say that means that either I'm a boring bastard that he can't wait to get away from, or he's keeping a close eye on what's happening in the bar. Erm ... I mean ... maybe I better ask Joy what the real story is.
  8. You still won't eat bugs, but you'll kiss a girl who's just finished a huge bag of them.
  9. Don't like the new manager there. ... only kidding! We gotta stop meeting like this Paul.
  10. Yep, the lawyers would win every time. BTW I voted for Rugby players in the poll. I played both and though Union is the game I love I think I'd vote for the League players if it came down to a head to head. Soccer players just make me laugh.
  11. No surprises there then.
  12. Just a side note here. If you use Firefox (and everybody should IMHO) but find that some pages don't work properly and need IE, you can download a FF extension that will open pages in an IE tab. BTW, pages that work in IE and not in FF are poorly written and do not comply with web standards - hope it's not your own website.
  13. Marry an orphan. With no kids.
  14. They generally are true in my case, but I've learned to live with it.
  15. They ought to know Jinger Ben by now.
  16. I see this thread was started October 27. Dying to know if there has been a reply. No-one from your old company been in contact regarding strange Russian emails LordFlash?
  17. Reads to me like a true story ....
  18. Wow! Some real sweeties there. Note to self ....
  19. Shit! As always I'm going to be a day late.
