Hi Jimmybcool, I used to go in January but have found that Febuary is a much better deal, the cost is the same but the whole resort starts to chillout after the Christmas/New Year Chinese New Year. Also there are less people on the Golf course :-) I've got a booking at the Holiday Mansion for 10,000 bt for 4 weeks plus Elec/water. I have booked 3 (three) tickets with Gazelle (ask for Pat) for Febuary next year, for myself and two friends all leaving on diffrent days and two airports. There is no such thing as a visa for flying with anyairline. You would only require a visa to enter a Country NOT a plane. For Thailand it is a visit of over 30 days The fare price was ex Newcastle econ £469 Upper class £749 ex Heathrow econ £449 Upper class £729. The travel days from Newcastle are Sunday out & Saturday return. The early arrival in Bkk, this year I landed early and was in Pataya at 10.30. Be Nice Moby69

No problem Gus, I flew with them last year and found everything super ;D I also flown with Thai - OK but expensave, Klm - very good but no upper econ, Air france - CRAP Also because I live "up-north" the timings are very good for me ie; 10.30am Ncl which means I can leave my house at 08.15 :)and I get home around lunch time :) Hope it works out for you, if you play golf I normally play out of the Suger-Shack or you might see me in the FLB :D Be nice Moby69
