  1. Thanks Pete. I'll give it another go. [smiley=thumbup.gif] be seeing you monkeyman
  2. I've been experimenting with moving my FLB movies from my hard drive onto VCD using Ulead DVD Movie Factory. The program loaded International Women Of Mystery OK but when I tried the Walking Street Video it said it didn't like the file type. I think the .mpa file extension may be the problem as the program doesn't seem to list it. [smiley=banghead.gif] Any suggestions out there? ??? be seeing you monkeyman
  3. UK? They give slappers a bad name. [smiley=puke.gif]
  4. Tin Tin in Thailand? Is that anything like Can Can in Paris? It figures. I always had the guy down as a pervert. be seeing you monkeyman
  5. Dunno, I lost my copy when I was mugged by a couple of ladyboys on Beach Road. Apparently they were after a copy of "Boystown Review" by Brian Hatter and Ian Hoof. be reading you monkeyman
  6. The Montien has electronic safes in all rooms.
  7. Whaler I was expecting you to ask me where I usually went. ;D be seeing you monkeyman
  8. Have you read "The Beginner's Guide To Katoeys" by R. Spandett?
  9. I didn't come here to be insulted.
  10. 20 pounds is bloody great. Put it this way, before my next trip to PTY I'm staying in Wales for a week and that's gonna cost me 110 pounds per night. Still, I'll be in my second favourite place in the world. I won't say exactly where it is, but there's a clue in this post (and most of my others come to that.) be seeing you monkeyman
  11. On Walking Street between Soi Diamond and Soi BJ. If Happy A Go-Go's at the end of it, you've got the right one. be seeing you monkeyman
  12. Nope. Mind you, a few drinks might drag it out of me. Actually, I've taken quite a shine to Heineken since my last visit to Lion... be seeing you monkeyman
  13. How about Happy A-Go-Go? That should be VERY safe in the next few days.
  14. Probably less chance of picking up an STD from a Go-Go. But how much less is anybody's guess. And of course, less chance still from FLB (mine's a Carlsberg. Ta.) be seeing you monkeyman
  15. Well, there's no post like an old post. Perhaps we should join the nostalgia boom and revive a few more of the golden oldies. Any favourites? be seeing you monkeyman
  16. You reckon that's a good way to spend your FIRST day?
  17. Tom, What you say about the single room/joiner fee thing makes perfect sense, and is why I have no gripes about paying the joiner fee at the Dusit, as it still costs me less than booking a double. I don't know what they do at the Dusit if you do book a double, but I know from experience that some of the higher end hotels such as the Montien will still charge the joiner fee, which I think is taking the piss. Even more so their hotel in Bangkok, which is just over the road from Patpong! I've asked some of the girls who I've taken back to the Dusit how they were treated by the front
  18. I think the lack of bustle on the streets takes a bit away from the atmosphere. Somehow the place doesn't seem quite so alive in low season, even though there's still plenty of people and noise about. I think this is particularly noticeable on Walking Street, where pedestrian numbers seem to drop more noticeably than elsewhere for some reason. Bars and clubs don't seem to be affected much though, and I guess that's what's really important. Perhaps low season attracts more people who want to sit down and drink rather than walk about. Yeah, I'll have some of that. ;D ;D ;D be see
  19. bluesmalone My last visit was in September/October. Quieter than high season, obviously, but dead it was most definitely not. I think it's a matter of taste whether high or low season is better, as there's pros and cons on both sides. I don't have any great preference either way, but if I had to choose I think I'd go for low season, as I reckon the TG to poonhound ratio is more favourable. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D be seeing you monkeyman
  20. I'm staying at the Dusit for a few weeks this year for £22 per night as they don't charge a single supplement from April to October if you book with the right companies. Needless to say, you can't combine this with the free nights offer. I've stayed there before and would certainly recommend it to anyone. Now the bad news. They do charge a joiner fee of 1000 baht per girl, so anyone who didn't pay probably just got lucky. They do seem to be polite with the girls though. Whaler, I don't think the "I've booked a double" ploy works in any hotels I know of. Unless the room is booked in the
  21. You just gotta ask yourself one question. Do I want gratitude or attitude? be seeing you monkeyman
  22. This is the stuff. Congrats to all concerned. Much appreciated. be seeing you monkeyman
  23. I've just had this strange feeling of deja vu.
