Without doubt, the most popular doctor GP used by the expats is Dr Olivier, he is in soi day night, just past the day night hotel. He is the only foreign doctor to have passed the exams in Thailand and can read,speak and write fluent Thai, English, French, German and Swiss. His clinic is very european and not like the Thai clinics, he has a nurse theer and can take care of most problems and he is very reasonable. If you are coming into town along south pattaya rd, turn left just passed Tuk Com and he is about 200 yds along the soi on the left

I would only guess you could get the George Foreman griller from the big supermarkets, trust me on the bacn and sausage from the Pig, they make their own sausages and cure their own bacon. If you have had a breafast there, its the same stuff.

I buy a kilo of good middle bacon and good pork sausages from the pig and whistle soi 7, they have their own butchers upstairs. 250 baht a kilo. You wont find good stuff in the Philippines

Without doubt, the best real estate agent for sales and rentals is Alan Boltons at the Avenue. They have been voted Pattayas best real estate agent for about the last 3 years. Look them up on the internet and look through their selection of condos. I am not sure about the telephone line in a condo, but the internet should not be a problem, the existing internet may need to be increased for speed, but that is easy enough to do.

I cannot recommend David Peck at all, i found him to be useless and expensive. I went to the International hospital on soi 4 and they have a really good back treatment center and it was half the cost of David Peck. The Thai word for physio is pronounced "Gia Paab"

Thank you, that is exactly what i hoped would be posted to let some know that its not all doom and gloom in Pattaya. That retirement to Pattaya has success aswell and can have good opportunities. Thank you for bringing it back on track. I hope others will post their own wishes of what they would like to do without any negativity.
