  1. It really is up to you, i have had many Christmas Dinners in Pattaya, including Robins Nest,Pig and Whistle, Nickys and Shenanigans. They are all good and to be honest - one of the best Sunday dinners and Christmas dinners i have ever had is at Bob Palmers place, Bob does alot of the food for the parties around town and i know his place is not exactly the Ritz, but his food is always good. I have eaten there on and off for over 11 years and it has always been good and very reasonable
  2. My appologies dude i was simply trying to get the point across that it is not a good idea to advertise this as the BIB sometimes monitor these forums and now have a good idea where to go and raid next. If that happens, it just spoils it for everyone else
  3. What a worrying story, where i live in Pattaya - there is the Thai (actually he is Australian - born to Thai parents in Australia)doctor who is the farang translator at the hospital (BKP) and i recently had a big health check paid for by my company. He told me they dont like the insurance copmanies as it can take atleast a month to get their money from them. He said it was "preferred" that you pay cash and get your own refund. I am now covered with CIGNA and i have a list of entitlements which i can get each year. I have also rang them and asked about hospitals at home and they said that they have an office in BKK and would send someone to any hospital if needed to make sure payment is made.
  4. I like to use them as much as the next guy does not mean i use them as much as you. I have my Thai wife here with me and we are having a great time. You are clearly stupid to make comments about a place that you have never been to.And, just for you, i sent my driver to find out if they sell Kamagra and how much. They do sell it and it works out to 40 baht per sachet. But i still dont need it like you do and i can afford it when you cant. You should be home soon with the depressing blues and skint As for any STDs or Aids, take a good look in the mirror
  5. I would not know, i am not old enough to need them
  6. People like you who cant afford to buy them in Pattaya wont care less, but for the guys who can afford to come here or have the pleasure of living here , they do care. Its silly to advertise on this (or any) forum were they can be bought illegally. I would not want any of them to get raided just because of some ass holes advertising the fact they are being sold this way. Stick to AC, plenty of fake and even cheaper shite there
  7. No Jacko it is not, and you of all people im sure know that already
  8. Whoa, wind your neck in and take your face out for a piss, i wanted to let the guy know its not the best idea to advertise on this forum were Kamagra is being sold without a license, I like to use the stuff as much as the next guy, its just that its not a great idea to advertise this on a forum like this, i would hope the pharmacy does not have an issue with the BIB in the future because some fool advertised the fact here
  9. Of course you know its illegal to sell this without a license in Pattaya, which pharmacies dont have (only doctors) Great advertisement
  10. What a scarey looking bunch
  11. Much depends upon your budget for the room, i have had similar likes to yours in the past, and i still like the Residense Garden, its about a 10 minute walk from WS, i dont mind the walk as for me its not far
  12. Exactly right and what has the Chinese got to do with a stupid prick who would not honor his contract and attempted to do a runnner. Some get just a tad to excited....
  13. Gotcha Then the best is to go with either the Sportsman soi 13 or The Queen Vic, soi 6. Both have buses with 6 seats and give you a decent breakfast before you leave, packed lunch and stops for drinks toilets etc. You will usually leave around 6 am and are back in Pattaya by 3pm. Costs about 2500 baht
  14. Much depends upon what type of visa you are looking for. Last July i went up to Nong Khai and went over the bridge and stayed in Vientianne for a few days and while there, i got a single entry tourist visa (60 days) as it was all that i needed at the time. They do issue double entry toruist visas (2 x 60 days and then a 30 day, total 150 days) I did the trip with my wife so i drove there myself and it was a nice little break. Vientianne has a small area of very few bars with girls hanging out the front by the river if you want company etc. Alternatively you can do this trip with the help of the visa company in the Queen Vic, soi 6. It is about 12'000 baht for your travel, Lao entry fe, visa fee and one night stay in a hotel there. It is probably the cheapest way to do it if you dont drive yourself.
  15. When i click on the link, it tells me the video is not avaialble
  16. Mostly it doesn't completely load all of the pictures someone posts, and if i reply to a thread with pictures, my reply will appear in the middle of the pictures and then after a while not appear atall.
  17. I have done this many times and sometimes had to haggle, but always got me a taxi for a 1000 baht note. It does work if you are prepared to go upstairs and outside from Departures
  18. Being a Brit, i have not really had much idea about thanksgiving and the dinners that go along with the celebration until the last two years while working in Iraq with the military. I have to say it is a great time and the dinner itself is very impressive. I would recommend anyone who has the opportunity to go along, make a reservation and try it for the first time. It is a great time to be had.
  19. Thanks for posting these pictures, its always good to see places of interest outside of Pattaya
  20. You can get a double entry tourist visa from Laos, if you go to the Queen Vic on Soi 6 and talk to the visa lady, they run regular trips and are good value for the money. The visa will eventuate to 150 days for you. If you really want the Non O visa - multi entry, you will have to go back to the UK.
  21. Joe, sometimes you post something useful and worth reading, but this is your 'post a load of bollocks half hour" You seem to be on side with the prat of an O.P
  22. I seem to remember this being talked about before and the replies were all about the apartments being small and cramped, also they stitched you up on the electric and water charges. For 13'000 baht a month, there are alot better places to rent. I would recommend the Irish Rovers on LK metro.
  23. To the OP. if you have a decent resume, you could try www.JST-Group.com they are based in BKK and recruit for all kinds of companies.
