When was the last time you went there?
-
Without doubt. the worst place in Pattaya for food. go there if you want to throw up after
-
Mumm Arroy behind Banglamung police station is nice, Ruan Thai on 2nd rd is very nice and also Vientanne along south Pattaya rd at the junction of Soi 1, all are good places with good ambience and very reasonable

For a nice apartment with ocean view, you can look at Northshore, its at Soi 4-5 and i know a guy who rents a very nice 1 bedroom place there with ocean view for 30k a month. It depends on your budget, but i would start with Alan Bolton at The Avenue first and talk to him about what you want and what budget you have. There are plenty of "cheap" places around but like anything, you get what you pay for. Good luck with it all and dont be put off by the cheap charlies here

Maybe William Hill wants you to poker him

bigmick replied to davethailand's topic in Bars/Gogos/Business Owners' Forum
Hey Dave, fuck the stupid cunt with the ngative comments, keep on doing what you do best, no one can knock you for your great efforts and your great bar with great music. See you soon, Mick -
Would it not be safer and cheaper to send it to a friends home in the US and have them bring it over when they next come to Pattaya? P.S. Dont order any knuckle dusters or boxing gloves for dusa to bring, you know he likes to use them on the old dogs he slaps around

It seems that so many taxi firms come and go and yet none, not even the Thai ones show to be reliable. At the end of the day whats in a couple of hundred baht to save on a cab fare?? If youre coming here on holiday are you really worried to need to save a few hundred baht for a cab ride. To be able to just walk out , get in a cab and be on your way is a big weight off my mind when i get there, so to pay the 1500 baht, really its nothing and your on your way. Theres no waiting around with silly text and phone calls, nor is there a 24 year old volvo waiting for you either. Kinda makes sense to m

You can get alot more for alot less alot closer to Pattaya, this is just some tatty thai house on a tatty thai estate. Not worth 10k, The drive out to this area will take about 30 minutes from central pattaya
-
You should be able to get the bus from the bus station at the end of Pattaya nua(north pattaya rd) i would think 100 baht each way should do it, if you go on saturdays the beech area is busey with mostly thai families, its a nice walk along the beech pathway and the thai food is good, your not hasseled either by sellers, during the week its quiet

There is alot to choose from and if its good accomadation , you will have to pay some kind of deposit, but to pay twice like that, no, i would nt do it, try telling them what you are prepared to pay i.e. 16k one time and thats it, im sure they will accept, it seems like they are trying it on with you before you get there

-
That sausage and mash looks like a couple of shrivelled up dicks. That is not S+M. you should try Nickys, soi buakhow for proper English food

You will no doubt get alot of negative answers to this post. Many BMs would like to have their own property here but cannot afford it and so will shoot you down saying lots of terrible things about the idea. In truth, i have a house here and im really happy with it, i have just spent close to 700'000 baht having work done to the house. If you want a place here then make sure you have done your research, look into location that is important for you and make sure you get what you want, not what someone tells you that you want. There is so much to choose from, it really depends upon your budget a

I would advise you to listen to someone who has actually bought a property , not just rented a cheap place on the outskirts of town, Alan Boltons is without doubt the best that Pattaya has to offer in terms of real estate, He has a new office in the Avenue shopping center on 2nd rd

The only places i can think of are along Threppasit Rd, if you have a moped, i suggest you start from Sukhomvit rd end and ride along past the market until you come to the Honda garage on your left. At this junction there is a shop called "Thanna home" They have all kinds of wonderful stuff in there, if not then go along further until you are near the View Talay buildings either side of you and there are a few good electrical shops on the right hand side before you get to the lights, good luck
