  1. You might stand a slight chance if you posted her picture here first...........
  2. Funny
  3. In Pattaya, you should expect to pay 2 months deposit and 1 month at the beginning. You then pay each month by month in advance. The untility bills would stay in the landlords name and you are responsible for these also. The only exception would be if you "added" something like True Vision for your TV etc. A typical lease is 1 year and can be renewed each year
  4. Not meaning to stray off topic, has anyone ever found a good Chinese restaurant in Pattaya?
  5. Whatever it is , it wont give you the shits and it will taste like real food, so the extra 50 or so baht is well worth it
  6. Thanks for that, i think this could start as a whole new topic and inform others about opening a bank account in Pattaya, it never used to be that easy. Good on ya for sharing this
  7. Could i ask you when you last did this?
  8. To get the ATM card they would need a letter of residence from immigration to open the bank account first and im not sure if they could get such a letter based on the visa on arrival (30 day stamp). For those who do have a non imigrant visa, opening a Thai bank account is a great idea. Good point Aussiechic
  9. you stil dont have a sense of humor do you? or are you still waiting for certain pictures of someones wife
  10. That is plenty for spends and you will have a good time on that budget, i recommend you bring the cash with you, changing travelers cheques can be a pain sometimes, they change cash every were in Pattaya and there are plenty of money change booths all over the place. You will have a great time, try to get on a bar crawl if you can
  11. If you have any doubts about any of it, you can go to the expats meeting on Sundays along Beech Rd by soi 1 (in the big white restaurant) and they have a expat volunteer group who will talk to you about what you need andd they will even take you there so you dont have to pay anyone to do it for you
  12. EK 0384 2nd February 03.15 am. Dubai - BKK A380 Its not a link, but i have just looked it up for you on www.Emirates.com Hope it helps
  13. Last time i left Iraq to come back to BKK via Dubai, Emirates use the A380 on their 9am flight to BKK. It is on its way to Australia via BKK
  14. Yes you are entitled to half if you buy it together while married, a judge would tell you both to sell it and split the money 50/50 or you can pay her the 50% value and its all yours (easier to do that before it goes to court)
  15. I think this is a right turn off of 2nd rd just before soi 7, turn right at the coffee shop ( i think... im probably wrong)
  16. Usually for that kind of sport, when all the rest of the bars dont have it on, you can find it on at jamesons on soi AR (13) (i think) pattaya klang, they have a huge sattelite dish that can show many different sports channels at once, i think shenanneghans also at The Avenue - 2nd rd
  17. Exactly right, i am almost certain last years was exactly the same script aswell and the year before. It will all be forgotten within 24 hours
  18. It ain't that good either
