  2. I have lived in Thailand for close to 8 years now and both my parents are still alive and live in the UK. I make a point to bring them both to Thailand each year sometimes twice, they love it there and always have a great time. I have offered for them to come to live with me and have offered to hire a maid to help out also. My mum and dad dont want to, they like it where they are and have all their friends and grandchildren etc around them. I am lucky knowing i have a great sister who also takes care of them. But i would bring them to live with me in a heart beat if they changed their minds. I
  3. Love the pictures and thanks for the offer to post pics regulare, great publicity for your bar. I like the look of the place and the friendly approach you have brought here. Well done and good luck. You may get some crappy replies but each to their own. No worries. Mick
  4. VT2 and VT5 were not built at the same time, if they were both built at the same time, do you think VT5 would have sold out and VT2 been left half full?

  9. Dave, would you mind posting a few pics of the final product, i too am looking to have some shirts made and i want the best material also
  10. Thats a real shame, i absolutley love roast lamb as my most favorite meal. I have not tried this place, but i can seriously recommend "Nickies" in soi Bukao as the best roast lamb you will find in Pattaya
  11. I have been there twice and each time i went, i simply turned up at the airport, looked at the three different prices (very similar) from the diffrent airpines and picked one. They all have good flight times and plenty of options for time to depart/return. I seem to remember that Thai had about 15 flights a day. Overall a great place to visit, you will enjoy it there for sure
  12. If you are not serious about renting this guys house, why reply? you will always stay at skyslops and pay 600 baht per night to stay in an old police station. With what you pay for your stay in Pattaya, this place is way out of your league.
  13. Thats a very nice room for $62 a night, thansk for sharing with us, i have a need for a nice room in August and September and this looks to fit the bill
  14. Exactly right, only advantage is in the UK you can get a 12 month multiple entry Non O even if you are not applying for the visa based on marriage
  15. All of my conversation with the lady at the consulate was entirely about Non O visas, she said " so long as an American had the entry stamp coming into the UK in the passport, they can process the application"
  16. I have just gotten a 1 year Non O Multi entry from Hull in the UK Cost £125. I asked the lady about anyone who is not British getting visas there and she said " so long as they are in the UK at the time of application and have the entry stamp in their passport coming into the UK - then no problem, anyone reading this who was to travel from the USA to the UK could stay over a couple of days and so long as they have the entry stamp, could actually go in person the the consulate (or by post - takes 72 hrs) and get a Non O visa multi entry (1 year) within 15 minutes
  17. If you ever get back to Pattaya, i have the complete set of DVDs of Laurel and Hardy, i can watch them everyday and never get bored
  18. Where? Thailand or UK? There are lots of alteration shops behind TukCom if you want someone in Pattaya
  19. Still too expensive and not really that great either, much cheaper and better around, just look on local rental company websites, this is just Gaborologist desperate for money
