I have flown on the Thai Air flight many times also, when they first brought this newer type of aircraft the anouncement screen as you show in pic # 3 used to say "PA IN progress" and not "PA in progress. I showed it to the flight attendant who thought it hillarious at the time. Dont you just love the way Thais spell words at times.

Pattaya October Storm Watch - Gaemi coming
bigmick replied to MM's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
I travelled to the airport late Sunday nite and it rained all the way there, not too heavy but a good down pour. Leaving over Bangkok and out towards Myanmar we hit some real nasty turbulance and everyone was silent including the stewards for a good while until we cleared the clouds after about 20 minutes -
I tried Simons yesterday and it was really good, probably the best i have had, i have tried Gooses and the Jolly Friar and thought they are just ok, i wouldnt go back to either one. Simons is as close to the UK fish and chips as you can get. I had the F + C in Bang Chang today and it was also really good
-
Im glad to read this, im on me way there today
-
I think Simons has closed now, pity as it was the best Fish and Chips and excatly the same as the UK

Queen Sirikit Hospital
bigmick replied to Wobbly's topic in Doctors, Dentists, Clinics and Hospitals
Queen Sirikit hospital is quite an old hospital, but i have known some people to have had operations there and have come out very well and much cheaper. Remember it is a "government" hospital so its not exactly modern as other hospitals, but all aside, it is much cheaper and they a good hospital. I have just been in BKK Pattaya hospital and i was appaled at the poor service and had 5 doctors look at me in one day and all made different diagnosis's, eventually i got to see one doctor who knew what she was doing and got well after about 8 days. They tried to tell me the first 2 days in hospital would be 60k just for the room, until i complained - they then reduced the room charge to 7k per night. If you do go to the BKK Pattay hospital, be very carefull about the charges and the hidden charges, they will charge you for absolutely everything -
Does she still have a Thai passport? if she is still dual nationality then no, it does not matter, you can marry in Thailand. To be sure, i would recommend you see one of the "tout lawyers" who are hanging outside the embassey to make sure
-
If you get married in Thailand, you need to register the marriage with the UK Embassey, for this you will need all the marriage paper work from the Ampur you get married at. The actual marriage takes about 15 minutes and is not really exciting atall, but it is the legal way to get married. I did it in Bangkok 3 years ago and used a local tout/lawyer to do all the paper work etc after i got my affirmation to marry from the UK Embassey, he then did the letter which i took over to the embassey and i paid about 1900 baht to have it registered and that was that. There is a lot of useful information on the UK embassey website in Bangkok and you can download and print all the forms you may need.

Taking a Thai Girl out for a Lunch date in Pattaya
bigmick replied to Grahamxxx's topic in Restaurants and food
Where does she work, no point taking her across town if she has to be back to work at some point. MK is a good option and there are plenty of them around and the Thai girls like MK -
