Whilst the missus and I (sangsom-coke drinkers) love daiquiris and would drink 'em all night, I have agree to agree that the price point is too high. Sam and Co. knock 'em out at 80 (still?) admittedly in diiferent surroundings. Daiquiri Hous full of guys drinking beer - shurely shome mishtake. My wife's first trip to Pattaya we stayed several days at the Queen Vic (nice rooms with en-suite bathrooms above a pub). The only thing she objected to on soi 6 was that we got charged double bar-fine for going upstairs ST at Kiss Kool for a 3some. We got takeaways after that. She's only 48 but wants to be in Patts for her 50th like your missus... If your lady is really open-minded and fancies some pussy before or after the dentist the Queen Vic is the best launchpad for you. If she isn't then it isn't. Your call..... Andy Cap

Yep Good value for money, nice bar with cute and available but not in-your-face ladies. Owner is a good chap. Excellent wi-fi. Food is good too although loads of variety available within 100 yards. Walking distance to just about everything you can imagine and extremely well-placed for bahtbuses (as are all hotels soi Diana/Metro/Buakhao). I will be staying there next time (the missus can walk to LK for the pool!! Or over the road to Devil's Den). Thumbs up from me. Andy Cap P.S. Hello all Mrs Cap and I are rapidly approaching 50 and reviewing the options apart from staying where we are.... We'd very much appreciate input from knowledgeable BMs about the following... Mrs C is a nurse (specialised in geriatrics) but we understand western trained nurses cannot work in Thailand. We've seen that many westerners seem to work as "handholders" in hospitals like Bangkok Hospital Pattaya and thought about that as an option. She is fluent in English and French and has good German. Any thoughts? Our elder son is a French-trained cook currently with Ibis hotels

Hi Adam Looking good. I would dolly up your banner a bit with some darkside photos - greenery, golf, (BP2???) as it looks a bit dull without. What about telling in black and white the USP - a large house in the country for the same price as a studio in town. To cover the FAQ on the downside, what about travel distances (and possibilities - bahtbus, mototaxi, songtaew) to nearest hypermarket, WS, other? e.g. 15 minutes to WS by mototaxi (50 baht) - I've no idea so making it up. Just my 10 baht's worth. Back home for a Sangsom Coke I've had enough of the office today.....
