I went through there with Kingfisher six months ago. I found it to be completely the opposite to what people are saying here, I was ushered through all the checks and into the departure lounge in no time at all. Kingfisher were, I thought, excellent.

Don`t be ridiculous, never had a problem yet, and if I do I have the baht to make the problem go away. I`d rather not bother.

Nothing says cheap more than the usual two bottles of drinking water in the fridge. The Queen Vic is excellent in this respect, unlimited drinking water. It`s a tropical country FFS! I wont book into a room where I have to go outside to smoke like a schoolboy.

I`m just back from two weeks in the Jr. Suite. I would recommend The Opey in a flash but not this room. The bedroom in the suite has a sloping ceiling/wall and no natural light, so it can be a bit claustrophobic. The room does not overlook the pool. I think it is overpriced at 950b. Having said that I would return to the Opey in another room no problem.

There are a couple of computers in the foyer and wi-fi in the rooms.
