Maybe another Mookata place, maybe not. Could be another 7-11 as we can never have too many of those. -

From the article, Knowing the majority of air pollution in Thailand is produced domestically, what are the root causes? Well, this largely depends on the city and region in question. For example, 72% of the city’s air pollution in Bangkok was from combustion engines in 2022. On the other hand, in Chiang Mai, the most significant pollution source is field burning.

Hmmm, I wonder what they're going to build here... Strange they're building the new places while this one sits empty a few meters away. -

Done the day before the Chinese New Year out of respect and to make merit to her Chinese ancestors.

LOL, the latest govt recommendation for reducing air pollution. Thai Government Wants People to Reduce Incense Burning for Chinese New Year to Stop Air Pollution "The Deputy Government Spokesperson publicly stated that the Thai government was concerned about the health problems from PM 2.5 smoke on a concerning level. To reduce small dust particles in the atmosphere and protect the environment, the Thai government asked to reduce the use of incense and to use electric incense instead."

I noticed a month ago the crash barrier at the entrance to the Hwy 7 flyover hadn't yet been replaced after saving 10 people in a car that hit it from serious injuries back in 2022. I went out this morning to get a photo of the crumpled barrier and was surprised to see they had replaced it, but with a less substantial barrier than the one before. Better than nothing I guess. The crumpled crash barriers however at the south and north entrance to the underpass still need replacing. -

Sometime earlier this week one of the two shower stations had shower heads installed. I don't see that style of shower head lasting more than a week. I figure either vandals will make short work of them, or someone will come along and see it as a free rain shower head for their bathroom. They need more water pressure for this type of shower head though. They also should have put in auto off faucet valves. Wonder what they're waiting for to complete the second of the two shower stations. More decorations going up for the Year of the Dragon celebration. -

Looks like they're in the final phase of finishing the Akara hotel on Nakula Soi 31. That project started before the pandemic. -

What I'm calling the Nirun food court has a new addition that is getting built quickly by Thai standards. Last Saturday the new place looked like this. This morning the place has a roof and landscaping. And opposite a new place looks like they're getting ready to open. Wonder if this vacant land is next for development. -
