I would love to subscribe to the view that Pattaya is some kind of sexual utopia where anyone can get whatever the want anytime they want. Sadly this can not true. Racism is present all over the world so why should Thailand be immune from this evil? Racism is based 100% on ignorance and in Thailand most of the people are ill educated...I would guess that most of the bar girls wouldn't even know that there is now a black president of the US. It is very much present here in Holland in the P4P scene. Having made numerous trips to the red light district in Amsterdam you begin to notice things that you didn't notice before..and I have noticed from time to time black guys staring in the windows at the girls and the girls either blanking them or immediately waving them away with their hands whereas when other guys walk past these same girls are knocking on the windows and desperately calling to them. Money is very important to these girls but it is not the be all and end all. Many have realised, especially the really good looking ones, that they can make more than a good living without going with every customer who shows an interest in them. They therefore exercise their right to pick and choose. So I would say to any black guys who want to go to Pattaya - go there! It will be more than worthwhile. But don't go there with the illusion that every girl that you like will be happy to go with you or that the girls as a rule will favour you over other guys. Unfortunately, quite the reverse, many have only ever been and will only ever go with white guys even if these guys are old, ugly, dirty looking, badly dressed and overweight. Sad but true.

Girls have mentioned this to me on a few occasions also. Whenever this issue is raised, there are always loads of guys including black guys saying that black guy's will have no problem whatsoever and that they will actually be in demand. Don't believe them! The sad fact is that Thailand is much more openly racist than the West and status there depends much on skin colour. There is clearly a sizeable proportion of girls who will not go with a black guy no matter how much money he is prepared to pay Once I saw this well dressed, fairly good looking black guy chatting to a pretty girl in a disco. Later he walked off so I seized my chance. On the way back to my hotel on the baht bus I mentioned that I first saw her talking with another guy and asked why he didn't want to go with her. She said "Up to me". She had made some excuse that she had a boyfriend when clearly she had not! She only wanted 1000 baht for the night so it definitely wasn't a money issue. Many black guys on here say that they have never had a rejection but they may be rejected many times without realising it. As far as go go bars are concerned you should have no problems getting entry to them - however don't be surprised if girls there often walk past you and then to be all over some ugly, old, white guy who has his stomach hanging over his shorts. I have never been to a country where I haven't seen a McD's, KFC or Subway whilst I am walking around. One of the things that the US is really good at is remorselessly spreading their artery clogging, stroke inducing and cancer causing fast food fodder around the globe. They have even managed to infiltrate countries that are traditionally haughty about their cuisine like France and Italy. I dare say that if you did a poll of Thai youngsters then there would be a sizeable proportion who see fast food as a special treat- there is even a McDonalds slap bang opposite the Pyramids in Egypt. No wonder the cultures around the world are being steadily eroded whilst the waistlines and body mass indices of nations around the world are relentlessly increasing.

'Walking Street' bar near the start of Walking Street is the equivalent freelancer bar to Gullivers in Bangkok. Whenever I have gone in it has always been packed with an equal distribution of guys and freelancers.

I think it would be fair to say that she is probably not the usual PBG fare.
