Reminder about this bloke. Don't trust.
Gary replied to yobbo71's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
Not everyone is a crotchety cynical old fart like me and several others on here. Some guys are generous and compassionate. That's fine and it must make them feel good. Usually it's not a lot of money and really there is no harm done. As for myself, I resent being taken for a ride and at this point in my life it is not likely to happen even if they are deserving of some help. -
As long as IE 10 stays like it is, it's good bye Chrome. MSN must have gotten some new programmers for IE because this is by far the best IE ever.
-
The more I play with IE 10 the better I like it. It seems even faster than Chrome and no glitches that I have found so far. In fact I'm going to set it as default to give it a better test.

The new software no longer shows which posts have been read. It is the same with IE 10 and Chrome. EDIT - My mistake. The read posts now show up as a lighter color. No other problems that I can see.
-
I'm giving IE 10 another test run. I can't see any problems with it. No doubt I could get used to using this but since Chrome is easier to use and I'm used to it, I see no reason to change. The word wrapping works properly.

IE 10 is the best version I have seen. Far better and faster than the previous versions. That said, I'll still stick with Chrome. I'm using Windows 7.

I'm sure he is trustworthy and that he has every intention of paying you back. HOWEVER, better you than me. -

There's just no accounting for taste. -

Maybe he is a troll and seeing what kind of reaction he would get. Troll or not Thailand can definitely use some decent pickles. A good sliced dill pickle can make a shit hamburger edible. -

I have no idea how bread and butter pickles got their name but that is normally what they are called in the US, I'd just call them Grandma's Bread and Butter pickles. If you are going to produce them, Grandma's Sweet Relish should be next. I found a jar of Del Monte hamburger relish, it is very expensive, and edible but far from being tasty. Whatever you name the product, it has to be good. I once bought a jar of Howie's dill pickles. I don't know who Howie is but he obviously had no idea of what dill is and the pickles were soggy as hell. They sucked big time. I threw them away. I'll never buy anything with Howie's name on it again. -
Have you guys been to the popular Dongtan Beach? You'll like it a lot if you like boys. You'll likely want to give it a miss if you don't.

It was VERY bad luck to have her ball plugged in the bunker. Taking a drop badly rattled her and she choked from there on. She hasn't learned yet to be conservative.

I would hope that Ariya can hold it together for the win. She is a pretty girl but it appears that fast food has gotten the best of her. Must be a lot of pressure for such a young girl. She did look fairly composed and relaxed yesterday.

I think the same as Paps. I would hope he suffered greatly before they broke his neck.

My question is, WHY would you want to use a humidifier in humid Thailand? Most people struggle to remove humidity.

I don't do chips unless they come out of a bag. French fries are now also out. It's freedom fries, or if you prefer simply fries.

Welcome America bashers. It's too bad you can't find anything else to bitch about. My advice is if you don't like it DON'T eat there. Simple solution.

If it is anything like the phony WWF, I wouldn't walk across the street to see it if it were free.

No more laptops for me. I live out in the boonies where there are a number of small computer shops. Somchai can repair any desktop but just roll their eyes if you bring in a laptop. I do keep a netbook for travel. The 10 inch screen is a little small but beats my smart phone. Extra RAM and the SSD helped it a bunch.

If I remember correctly, neither Hotmail and Gmail will work without Java. I have to say that since I dumped the free AVG antivirus I have not gotten infected. This is one of the reasons we use decent antivirus programs.

Sounds like a scam to me too. It's difficult to trust anyone anymore especially sending money to a stranger. -

And you'll ship it as soon as you get the money? -
US Customs destroying person property without reasonable suspicion
Gary replied to short's topic in Airline Discussion
I have been in the little room twice where they strip everything including your wallet and ex-ray your shoes. They did not destroy anything and except being a major pain in the ass, nothing was damaged. -
I don't understand the "all right turns". That would mean the you would continually be going around a square or rectangle.

When I buy something online, if they refuse to ship it regular air mail, I won't buy it. FedEx and UPS are both in bed with customs. The last thing FedEx delivered to me was vitamins from the US. The tax was more than the shit cost.
