    Was at the police station a few days ago making a report (hit and run accident, an asshole reversed into me and then did a runner)and a couple of the policeman were discussing why farangs only come here to fuck their women (obviously aimed at me)........ They were kinda shocked when I replied in English that I came here for work but their women were a bonus...dumbasses did not know I can understand thai.

    work permit or no work permit nothing was in her passport other than a visa (assuming she was not here on a 30 day visa exempt stamp). what was the permit in her passport ?

    You need a non immigrant visa before they will approve a work permit however you can apply for a work permit on a tourist visa.

    I reckon an education visa is just perfect for you, it will provide a 12 month visa and as a bonus you will learn the Thai language...

    I got my Non B multi entry visa without a work permit, as do all other farangs now employed at my work. Maybe stop trying to go down the dodgy routes and man up and get the proper legit paperwork..... it is not rocket science.

    No she did not have a work permit in her passport, A visa probably but a work permit most definately not.

    You have it correct MM. Not sure how the OP can get a work permit to run an exchange booth though as I reckon that will be a thai occupation only......... the paperwork presented to both the dept of labour (for the work permit) and the consulate (for the Non B Visa) must be colourful.

    Like MM I too have an unsecured visa card with K-Bank, the paperwork was not over the top but defnately tedious, from time of application till the card arrved was 6 weeks.

    Given the amount of questions you already do not know the answers to why not take them and go educate yourself so that you can reply, assumng you are serous about selling that is.

    Tony's has 2 open air Gyms that I know of. 1 on the cormer of Pattaya Tai and Third road, the other is the old badminton place on Nern Plub Wan.

    That pretty much kills all condos, you will be limited to what ever is there already, you can find one with hard wired lan (Most are wifi these days) but you will have zero chance of having a second hard wired lan from another provider installed. Re-think this one and I might be able to answer you other questions.

    Amusingly it is now definitely sold, Bt.280,000 changed hands about 20 minutes ago and the pickup is on its way to Bangkok.
