Hand luggage not a problem but they are bastards for charging over weight in you checked in luggage.. Be carefull Griffo

OK the best way to secure a Good seat on any airline is 1. To book your seat towards the rear of plane. 2. Board as the very last passenger ( Very important) 3. As you then walk the length of the plane with everyone else seated you then know that the empty seats are then free and you can park yourself where you like. Across four unused middle seats for example or at the emergency exit. Most passengers dont change seats untill the plane has taken off therefor you have a very clear advantage. This works for me 99 out of 100 BRILLIANT PLAN Griffo.

Bronto, what is your age If you are over 50 and apply to BIRMINGHAM they will issue you with a catagory O visa 90 days at a cost of £40. Send a SAE and they will return your passport immediatly. OK I have now returned to the UK after flying Etihed. Found this airline to be superb in every respect. Economy outbound and upgrade to business on the return flight. Food excellent and service second to none with beautifull multi racial cabin staff. Fully recommended Griffo. PS. Flying out again on 17th Aug with Thai... Etihed fully booked. That must tell a story.
