Test driving my new camera at Heathrow

Cheers Butch. I bought the body and lens together. I think the BA jets look so bright because of the fencing and foilage infront of them. Maybe i played around with one too many of the functions at the time. As stated, this was a test run. You get loads of spotters in that area most days, dependent on take off patterns and weather. -

Saigon zoo, it doesnt exactly get a very good write up on Tripadvisor, and mainly has people slating them for the conditions the animals are in, but to be honest, ive seen a lot worse conditions in Thai Zoo's. Located not far from the centre of the city, Saigon zoo i found to be a nice retreat from the hustle and traffic of the city. Cant remember the entrance fee, but it cant of been more than 20,000 VND. The grounds seem to be quite big but as it started to rain when i was there, i think i missed quite a bit of the gardens area out. Its worthy of a couple of hours to tour around, and seems to be full of school children and families when i visited. http://www.saigonzoo.net/ http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Attraction_Review-g293925-d317904-Reviews-Zoo_and_Botanical_Gardens-Ho_Chi_Minh_City.html Someone has a water fetish................................

This is the beautiful city of Chernivtsi, situated in the South West of the Ukraine, and only a 30 min drive to the Romanian border, which also would have doubled as my escape route, should the situation in the East of the country take a turn for the worst whilst i was there. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chernivtsi This city is a 8 hour "bus" journey, or a 13-14 train journey. I quite fancy the train journey next time, as it is through the day time, where as the bus leaves Kiev at 10pm and arrives in Chernivtsi at 6am, and vice versa with the same timings for the return journey back to Kiev. The Ukraine used to be known as the bread basket of Europe, and im quite keen to see this landscape at some point. Very much a university city, with a dominating University building in the centre of town, this place is packed with students, with eye candy for all tastes.............

And how "flexible" were the dates that came up for that price?
