Tims Beer Bar is a better place to stay - same owner. but last August they started working on the mega mail across the street from the Lek hotel and it was starting to get noisy. i have stayed at Tims for the past 7 years or so...but not anymore...at least until construction is done

Free beer nights are great at New LD1. I went to a few of these back in July/August - Free Tiger beer - excellent on draft - and I am a Singha beer lover - friendly boss, hostesses and dancers, and at that time - a raffle for the members. Just remember to identify yourself to the service girls BEFORE you order your free beer. They will give you a sticker to wear (at least they did last summer) to identify you as a member in good (or bad) standing.
