  3. I just flew Cathay Biz and they have power outlets but you need a converter. Cisco, you can have the one I bought for $29 at sharper image because it doesn't work worth a fuck. I have seen some airlines that still have some outlets up by the bulkheads and I would check seat maps and/or speak to the airline rep about the locations of these. Hub
  4. No apologies necessary, just joking! I sent you a pm. Hub
  5. T: Where in BKK do you suggest? Thx, Hub
  6. Do you have an email address for them? Thx Hub
  7. Braggart What does the "A" stand for? Keep me in the lower flights with the hackers. Drop you an IM next month when I am in town, maybe you can exact revenge via some skins, but after reading your last post will clearly be expecting double digit strokes. Hub
  8. I'm an inbreed? After you DFLs been doing all that fucking on that little island? Nice!! Do you want to give the spelling of restaurant (2nd time you fucked it up, so no typo) or burger one more try? Hub
  9. Great point, Water Closet: Reminds me of the DFLs who travel thousands of miles to eat and prattle on about the over-hyped and over-battered crap frozen fish at P&W and other joints in LOS. Did you ever wonder why when you travel around the world you find French, Italian, Thai and other restaurants, but never English "restaurants"? You only find English pubs. That's because you better have a frigging lot of booze and ale around to eat that shit. Hub

  13. I just thought the pool was spot in the middle of everything with people eating, etc. Not really a big deal. When I stayed there 2001-2002, the bedrooms didn't have tv. I found it to be very clean. How is the Dusit? I may give it a try one of these trips. I heard the pool is nice. Hub
  14. I assume we are all square now that I have misrepresented your tours as oustanding and reputable. I forgot to mention the special "turndown service" Solar provides during the evening portions of the tours. This occurs around three am, when Doggie stumbles into your hotel room and tries to shag your BG. I will be around late March. Are you still considering Chang Mai for November? Hub
  15. I agree with the others, Doghaus voa Solar did a great job organizing our trip to Kanchanaburi during November. He picked the same courses I would have picked and took the group into consideration when setting schedule/etc. He is also able to setup some great packages because of relationships he has developed with the courses and hotels. An example is that the last night of the trip, he booked those of us staying in bangers into a hotel near the airport for around 2,400 baht. The room I got was in the executive wing and was much nicer than the rooms I had at both the JWmarriott and We

    Go Eagles !!!!

Not only are the Pats physical, they come up with great schemes. I was reading today about how Bellichick, Brady, and the OC saw something with one of Pitts dbs and devised a play that led to that first long pass. Eagles are a great team. Should be a good game. I like how McNabb always mentions the sox as motiviation. Pats need to knock him down a few times. One of these years I still want to do a superbowl party in a big suite at one of the big hotels in Bangkok one day with friends, food, top shelf booze, betting and some loose women Hub
  17. I stayed there during November and found the small room way overpriced relative to other Pattaya hotels. Hub
  18. The Thai national average salary is 7,000 baht/month, so I think this will do you quite nicely. Hub Disclaimer: Bifcake, please ignore my post as just having a bit of fun.
  19. Clubman, I'll defer to Tom's greater knowledge, but I know people that have gotten cash payments here in the US on overbooks. Hub
  20. Thats a good deal GP. Would cost almost same midweek with PSC discount card without the gift, buffet or prizes. I am back in March if you want to get a round in. Hub
  21. It will be based on how far the course is. The closest are Phoenix or Siam CC. I like Siam because i can break 90 there most times. Pheonix is good too but a few very penal OB penalties from not too bad of shots fucked a few rounds up. Here is a map with contact numbers for the courses: http://www.pattayasports.org/golf/GOLF%20MAP.html You should be able to negotiate a air-conditioned taxi for around 6-800 RT, less for a bahtbus. At least that was my experience May and November 2003, World Travel on Soi 8 used to take us to Siam RT in AC taxi or minivan for 600. November 2004, I we
  22. Once or twice a year? Once or twice ever? You still haven't explained how it the UA flight is better for first time flyers, flyers with another FF alliance, or if you come to Thailand once a year and don't qualify for Premier status or get enough miles for an upgrade? Way to support your point - try and take it off on an unrelated moral tangent and then just reiterate your initial unsupported statement. You know what BigD? You win, your logic has overwhelmed me! The CX is a shitty deal! Hub
