  1. Your comparison of valid criticisms of the Skyslop with some hypothetical subjective and unbased slam of the FLB is ridiculous. Subjective items as the warmth of a beer, band quality, or attractiveness of girls by someone with an axe to grind are quite different from first-hand accounts backed by numerous photos of electrical hazards in showers, substandard bathrooms, mismatched furniture, curtains that don’t cover windows, safety hazards, and patio furniture in the “lounge”. (Just to mention a few). Get some new material, dirtbag. I can only guess that anyone satisfied with the
  2. The thing that you can not seem to understand or just ignore, is that BMs don't need to waste time on their vacations and be subjected to the Skyslop tour like Tom was (and for which you still owe him a beer for) to form an opinion of the place. There has been so many first hand accounts, including extensive photo documentation, it is quite clear what the Skyslop is and has to offer. Your repeated "have you ever stopped by" rhetoric every time someone raises a valid point on the dump holds no water and sounds like the repeated rants of an imbecilic child when confronted with something h
  3. I did, and he was an underdog to Woods. Unfortunately, the EPL wasn't as kind to me. FYI (in response to the assumed punch line to your post), I've been buying BA all along and started making profit again when it went over 63 and change. Currently up 11.41% on it and expecting it to be 100 again by the end of 2011. Time for a trip to Posiedon!
  4. Boeing made a nice profit last year and paid dividends, the stock is up to 72+. EADs lost money.
  5. based on 4-5 years ago, rooms varied in condition. generally older fixtures. staff good. liked the pool and can order from jamesons at the pool (i.e. pints and good food). I had a motocy, so distance to road usually not an issue, but it is a 1/4 mile walk up from 2nd road. motocy taxis and baht bus oftem parked near entrance. we had a good experience with 1-2 kids as tvs in living room and bedrooms.
  6. Tom: US Defense Department said it was disappointed by the EADS-Northrop decision I think it would be more accurate to say that you predicted the US gov would award the contract to Boeing no matter the circumstances. That has not been proven. What happened is that EADs-Northrop decided not to pony up the 100 million for putting together another bid because EADs is leaking money in too many other areas........ which is what I predicted!! The government isn't "assuring" anything; EADs is by not bidding.
  7. Guys like you are why the system is being changed in Europe and the US. Collecting disability payments when you were/are clearly not disabled, taking advantage of an early buyout because of overstaffing, and sitting on your ass since you were 41 and living off your wife and the system. If you were an eskimo, they would have pushed you out of the community on an ice sledge years ago. You are a drain on society. Yet you leverage your marginal position in our society, along with lies and deceipts, to take advantage of desperate members of a society far down the economic scale of the one
  8. Tom: Let's be candid, that "euro system" is being changed to more closely match the US system; those 32-hour work weeks, endless vacation, and union members that can't be fired, out the window much to the chagrin of those CESMs you mentioned before. Just purely looking at EAD's and Boeing's 2009 as an example, it seems apparent which system worked better in their case. Hub
  9. Unfortunately not, or my nephew (6'5+"; D's brother) would still be playing professionally instead of coaching at university. You don't have to be defensive about your history assumptions on bowing to lords and masters, I saw Braveheart , I know your history. That knee just starts bending by itself when that noble blood comes around.
  10. Tom: Correct me if am wrong, but it was not just that it was a political hot potato (which I agree), but that major errors were identified in bidding process (e.g., air force moving the goal posts during the bid process) and that is what caused the retraction of the award, not some ethereal "lords and masters" you refer to? Your assumption/supposition on the pending award is just that - your opinion and guesswork. What is fact is that EADs once again poured in a massive amount of bailout money from Euro governments to save the transport plane program, which does not lead to a lev
  11. We did have this conversation, but much has changed. Your statement above is a bit conflicting isn't it? At least the award of the contract is in question and the fact the US gov already tried to award it to EADs flies says differently. Based on my holdings of BA, I can't say I don't hope that your prediction becomes reality. If BA's refueling plane is better they should get the contract, and EADs may not successfully respond to the RFP in light of their recent track record.
  12. I think there is nonsense on both sides and your unequivocal assumption that the US gov will automatically defer to Boeing doesn't reflect reality. Hub
  13. Another Airbust Bailout?? Once Again, Euro Taxpayers to the Rescue!! More fuckups cause losses in 2009 for EADs. Meanwhile, Boeing was still profitable and yeilded a 4% dividend, despite delays and cancelled orders. I have to admit, I may buy the EADs stock as the safety net is so inviting. The EADs stock price went up even with the loss, due to the bailout. (Kind of like putting Ronaldo on your EPL fantasy team last year because he was such a prick). Hub
  14. Ditto. I like the Casa Pascal for their lunch specials when feeling rough. Good portions too, couldn't even finish an excellent mushroon risotto last time there.
  15. good for airbus. as long as boeing stock keeps going up, they can cut up that pie any way they want
  16. Tom: That story would hilarious, with the exception of the poor Thai taxi guy that wasted his time and money because the falang Mr. Dream doesn't have his shit together. Hub
  17. My advice to a constructive review wouldn't have been to reprimand the OP on what HE should have done. I probably would have tried to get the driver to slow down, but that's not the point. If Mr. Dream has this hand-picked cadre of drivers as previously advertised, they should know the default os to drive safely. His statement that customers vary on what they want is pretty weak; the default shouldn't be white-knuckle driving, nor should the OP go chasing Mr Dream. As demonstrated by the blatant giving a business card of a separate company at the end of the trip, the driver obvio
  18. Be careful, or you be branded as one of the "nay-sayers that knock everyone over here".
  19. Sorry to hear that Fornicator, was in there many nights over the years and Pat was always good for some buybacks and fun. Hub
  20. BTW, thanks to the OP for the review and the tip from Davyson on the other driver info.
  21. That's your constructive response? What the customer should have done instead of the business owner? What else is he supposed to do? Call mr dream and tell him to tell the driver to put the correct name on his sign and to not take long coffee breaks in a 90 minutes trip? Obviously, the guy is only loosely affiliated with mr dream and doesn't give a rats ass. Did you read the part about him giving his direct business card to the OP? Obviously he is not concerned about Mr dreams business and calling mr dream would have been at best useless and at worst pissed the driver off. J
  22. Looks like Northrop may drop out of tanker bidding. Maybe they have been spending too much time with the cheese-eating surrender monkeys over at EADs. http://www.marketwatch.com/story/northrop-...0?siteid=yhoof2 Can only be good for BA.
