What was the production issue - did Eltib download some bad porn that gummed up the computers for a few days?

Or more like a middle age lady with cankles and stretchy pants...

I am sure Tom is going green with envy over your "new toy" (a 15K hatchback) while he kicks back in his new multi-bedroom beach condo in Songla, a suite at Nirvana Place in Pattaya/Jomtien, or high-end serviced apartment on Sukhumvit. Should I hold my breath on the orphanage getting it's $5k from BigD?

Love it. This guy has so many different stories he doesn't know if he's coming or going anymore.

QUOTE(Hub @ Jun 23 2008, 02:57 AM) Come on man, he's in Thailand six months at a time when not "summering" in "lovely" Philadelphia. It's just that his six months only last a few weeks. Damn that pesky little search button!

Hub I presume you have some status that gives you three suitcases? I know I do, but you have to fly a lot to get there, with the miles OR fly just behind where the pilots sit. I didn't have status. I guess it was a "loophole" that allowed for a sports item over the two bag limit. These days airlines are making new customers pay for their first suitcase. On international flights?

I don't think people should get mad at the OP for presenting his opinion relative to available freelancers, as the PBG is being marketed as the Pattaya version of the Bangkok Beer Garden (where the freelancer population is a big draw). It's a bit ironic, as if I remember corrrectly the original intent of the FLB (Freelancer Bar) was to create a "Pattaya Version of the Bangkok Thermae". Well, that didn't work out either but Pete changed the theme accordingly and was successful. I am sure he will do the same here if warranted and his use of "internet custom" from boards like this seems und

Joe: I have almost always brought clubs and have never been charged for extra bag by EVA, Cathay, Northworst, china, etc even when already checking two other bags. This was a nice loophole and one time left clubs in LOS and use bag to carry thai sculpture and some other heavy items mixed with clothes. After our wedding in Thailand, using golf bags of fmily members was our saving grace to get our wedding presents back to the US, some of which were heavy/bulky. There was an exception for sports equipment beyond the normal allowance I think, which also may have been subnjective. I am no

Pattaya Beer garden update - 15 June 2008
Hub replied to PattayaPete's topic in Bars/Gogos/Business Owners' Forum
Pete: Looking forward to stopping by, the place looks nice. i like the pool table idea with the following caveat - IMHO, the pool table would only be a negative if not placed properly to spoil the chill out atmosphere with noise - thats if space allows you to do so. I hope you got a price break on the baht bus signs for your "indepenent" ladies! Hub -
Bangkok 2 bedroom apartment.....2 nights Sept 2008

The centrepoints are a good choice, check discount booking sites for deals., but they book quick often -
Tom, do have that listed before or after Mercinary and Investment Guru?

Maybe some of the Euros could give an update on some of the AB/EADs issues - I keep hearing their name when listening to the Beeb but haven't got the whole story, which seems to involve some unethical business pratices as well as french-german relations?

Best hotels with parking

The Bella Villa Prima soi 4 has an underground garage as well as many other redeeming qualities. -
I've been using 70K AA miles for Cathay or JAL flights and have to say the United 60K for the Thai non-stop is a better deal. Also, the 90K for business class is a great deal (AA is 120K to fly Cathay), considring how much a biz ticket compares in price relative to an economy ticket. Hub

Martin: You really are a little sensitive, aren't you? Do you think I was somehow contradicting you? I was just making a general comment. What is with the "unsubstantiated part", anyways? I used Mr. T for several years and the part about Toom helping out Mr. T with a few fares when he was sick came directly from a conversation I had with Toom himself. And for what it's worth, I don't think when Toom does or did one of Mr. T's fares he marks it up - it probably goes through Mr. T at Mr. T's prices. BTW, I am not a defender of Toom - he screwed me over badly a few y

You may have, but what muddies the waters is that Mr. Toom used to work for Mr. T and since Mr. T had his stroke, Toom has helped him out by sometimes subcontracting

I think they will mount them in your shower if you like.

I would rather have to sell my house than rely on my working wife for 75% of my annual GDP. Also, at least some members "moves to LOS" are factual, not hypothetical. Weren't you supposed to make the move awhile ago? BTW, I used Mr. T serveral times 5-6 years ago for the return to Bangkok and never had a problem.

How could you not find it strange? Everyone who read it does, to the point it's comical. But it makes perfect sense to BigD, who seems to operate in a universe where the sun and galaxy rotates around him

Mark: Can you have it left at the Bella Villa for me, so I can try it out on a boat trip out to Koh larn.. I may need to take it up to Chiang Mai also and see if the lens works properly atop an elephant on one of those village tours. If everything works out, I'll drop a personal check in the mail on Soi Post office. Hub

Mark: Why do I picture adjusting the focus on one of those lenses and having jiz pour out the side? I know how much you like these unproductive posts that don't answer the OP's question, but at least keeping your topic active. They look brand new, BTW. Hub

I completely agree. I would much rather buy a genuine used set than a poor copy. It's not just minor differences with some of the knockoffs - the construction materials and methods may be different. One piece of advice, if buying a driver like you did, you could first write down the serial # and call the manufacturer to see if it was on record. Same same with irons. I called Ping when I started having doubts and they didn't have the serial # for the fake Ping Rapture driver I bought on ebay, too late for me unfortunately. They looked it up over the phone. Hub

Jihn: I'd be interested also in those locations , as the pro Vs I have seen are usually more than that.
