  1. Thank you Franko very interesting, the only thing is I like clean bed linen daily as well as room cleaned but I suppose a person could come to some arrangement there. Travel is no problem as I hire a scooter when I'm in town. Bigmike.
  2. Franko do they have an elevator or stairs only. Bigmike.

Well all you poms might have a change of heart after the last few days, we thumped the poms and beat Bangladesh in 19 overs. I don't see any posts bagging Australia now Bigmike.
  4. The rates seem quite excessive when they only change the linen twice a week, Hotels change the linen daily. It's a bit hard to explain away all those snail marks all the time. Bigmike.
  5. Another funny thing here the event was held there in 2004 so all the teams new that it is a high speed circuit, how come it was only Michelin that turned up with the wrong tires. Another point of interest is that the other two teams that participated Minardi and Jordan have had issues with the all the other teams and wished that could have fallen into a big hole. Bigmike.
  6. Tahoe Bill I agree with you completely about your comments. I myself love F1 racing and to just blame Ferrari is an injustice. I remember watching a race earlier in the season when the Bridgestone tires de-laminated on Schumacher's car (two flats in about two laps) and there was no jumping up and down from Ferrari for a special deal and they new before the race that they would have problems with the Bridgstones. I hope that Michelin have the arse sued of them by some cunt. Bigmike.
  7. Fonz I can't quite work your logic out here. The seats you cited aren't the best in cattle class the best seats are row 40 on a MD 11. You can download the seating from the Thai web site for all there aircraft. Bigmike.
  8. Ooops I forgot about that type of thing wombat. Bigmike.
  9. Normally if your flying tourist class you can't request a certain seat off the travel agent (in business and first class you can) unless there are children involved, but you can at check in. If you have a disability you won't get an exit door seat for obvious reasons. Bigmike.
  10. It's not very close to the action though and it's a pain in the arse to go too and from there. Bigmike.
  11. Sandy Spring have never asked me for credit card details over the net. They have when I checked in and I supplied them and had no problems. They have an electronic system there which makes credit card abuse a little bit tougher. Bigmike.
  12. At reception when you check in. Bigmike.
  13. You do realize that Sandy Spring put their rates up not that long ago, so I think you may find the Scandibar rates competitive. Bibmike.
  14. mrrobj you must upload the image to a site first then then copy and paste the URL to this site and it should work. Do not delete the image from where you have posted it, if you do you will get a red X. Bigmike.
  15. jimmac the joint across the Soi is the Inn House. I checked it out last time I was there and the rooms were a lot smaller than the Sandy Spring. I think that I read somewhere that they kick up a bit if you bring more than two T.G's back. Bigmike.
  16. The Sandy Spring has nice big rooms, carpet and a balcony. If you get a delux room you won't hear any construction noises as they are away from Soi 13 and have ocean views. http://www.scandibar.com/hotel/sandy/ Bigmike.
  17. Yep your right clubman, higher up, away from soi 13, sea views and a bigger balcony. Actually quite nice rooms. Bigmike.
  18. The guy said he was stopping at the Sandy Spring and it is a fair way away from the lek. Bigmike.
  19. Just hope that there planes don't try and take off leaking fuel every where. Bigmike.
  20. landy2a. I checked out that web site you posted and I couldn't find any special prices there, they were all run of the mill stuff. Don't forget that these agents charge a fee also. I surf the web for prices, find the cheapest and pay a visit to my travel agent who is Harvey World travel here in Penrith and they always better the fare that I have obtained over the Internet. Bigmike.
  21. lemons this is the price I got for June. It's no where near the $893 that has been posted by Ashboy. This is of the Malaysian Airlines Web site. 22. This mob aren't that cheap but provide excellent service, great cars and they are based in Pattaya. I haven't used them but they are very highly recommended by LadyDrinkKing. Here is the link. http://www.imagelimo.com/ Bigmike.
  23. Pattaya has an environment where you can very easily get carried away with the life style, so a great deal of care is needed. Bigmike.
