Always a safe bet. I was intoduced to it by my first TGF and really enjoyed it. Any time I suggest going there to eat I get a happy response. Excellent value, good service, the beer is cold and the food is hot.

I just read on Thaivisa.com that Vientiane is moving from 2nd Road on March 25. Poster said it will move to Walking Street and a Robinson's will be opened on the present 2nd road site. Anybody have confirmation of this?

Good advice here. My 2 centimes is pack only carry-on luggage so you don't waste time. You can buy the things you need very easily, quickly and cheaply in 1 or 2 hours. I take 3 pairs of shorts, two are very casual like bathing suits and one is more like pants with belt loops, crease etc. Shirts with collars (like Lacoste) look nicer than T-shirts all the time. If you wish, take one pair of nice very light weight pants so you can go to a nice resto with a nice girl. Bon courage et bonne chasse!

Leng Kee is hard to miss, it's a large place open to the street (Pattaya Klang) and its on the corner of a small soi. Cooking pots and food prep happening out front.

Don't forget The Y. Had many a good snarf there. Locations throughout Pattaya plus take-away or delivery to your room.

Cooke Bungalow on White Sand Beach, 1000baht, very nice, a/c, cable TV. Very good restaurant and they will bring the menu and the meal to your veranda if you want to eat privately with your girl. Nice beach walks, internet across the road, shops etc. Not too much girl selection on KC so bring a girl with you. Any Pattaya travel agent can arrange hotel pickup, minibus and ferry. Or book direct with KoChang Travel (near InTown Hotel or soi Diana I think).

Pretty well impossible to imagine a hotel in soi 6 not being guest friendly unless its an absentee owner who doesn't know about "soi filthy" as the Thais call it.
