I have had two long term live-ins, I still live with the second one. Both chose me from different walks of life. I don't butterfly which is mega unusual here (I know perhaps only a couple of other guys who do not). I think you have to establish what you want. Do you want a constant stream of girls, some new ones, some brought in from a call or SMS ? or do you want someone to be a companion, to spend time with etc ? I wouldn't go looking, trying to see whether today's girl could be "the girl". I would advise getting a girl who has a job, so perhaps some networking outside of the bars and go-gos is needed. I would also think about the financial side of things before you even start. Do you rent ? Do you own ? Better she keeps her job to give you some time apart and she retains some financial independence. Iknow a few guys who constantly change but I could not live like that.

OTT pricing, etc. Any restaurant that goes on telly and the first thing they say about themselves it "we have 5 plasma TVs" is not concentrating on the food IMHO.

Over the years I've been top level on a number of airlines and I've spoken to them giving mega wide dates and asking which flights had availability and then booking vacations around those dates. Even then they would become defensive so I asked their people to run an SQL against their booking system if they didn't bloody well know. You have the same problem with Marriott but strangely enough, not with Hyatt.

Flew BKK-AUH-LHR-AUH-BKK a couple of weeks ago and great service. I looked at the MAN price and it was slightly over the LHR price but no way near GBP250.

My girls's sister sent her dog over from Holland. It cost quite a bit and there was more to pay at the airport at this end. The poor thing is a beagle and lives in Buriram where it is just too hot. I would seriously suggest not bringing the dog unless it is a small one and even then i would caution against it.

Starting prices are around Bt1500 for one of the smaller boats. I guess a full day for the larger boats would be around Bt2000+ depending upon how many islands you wanted to visit and how far out you went.

I am led to understand that something has replaced the Tor Tor Sam. I also understand that if say you bring in Bt5m you can only take out Bt5m and not say Bt10m if your condo goes up in value. I haven't been through this so more qualified minds may no know.

I'm looking to move out that way and have been out with Sabang looking at places a few times. Some of the prices being asked are unrealistic due to the enormous supply and even some of the rental requests are based upon very high yield expectations. Initially I will be renting. Still looking for a 3 bedroomed place if anyone knows of one.

Why not spend Bt1,000,000 on an Elite Card and not have to worry about it again, ?
